The God's Call You

The Field Trip

She went to her room to just relax while they were gone. Hanging up

her coat in her room, she just walked over to her dresser, to start

taking things off to get more comfortable.

By ten at night she had her homework done and was watching some tv

before bed.

Next day Andi was at school frowning at the homework she got from

English.

As the bell rang history started. "Hello class today I will show you

two things". She said.

"First were moving onto a new chapter of history and second. As you

know there is a fieldtrip out."

All the students cheered for the fieldtrip. She smiled "Yes I know

your happy about that but let me finish" she told them and they quiet

down.

"You might not want to go on the trip or your parents won't sign for

it " she told them.

Now they were curious on what it was. "The trip is to the museum of

history and culture" she said.

Groans were heard through the class. "Why there?" asked a girl up front.

"Because both the history and language arts classes decided to take a

trip there" "Will this be graded or be on a test?" another up front

said.

Most just rolled there eyes or groan they were the brainy kids.

"Well yes since it will contain parts for the new chapter we will be

reading today." She said.

"What are we reading today? I got things to do" said a slacker in the

back making the all laugh.

"We are studying now Ancident Greek myths" she said. And with that

class started.

No one wanted to read and when class was over. They groaned again

cause she gave them a chapter to read for homework with the fieldtrip

slip".

After the bell rang Andi dissapeared deciding to cut the rest of the

day it was only lunch and last period. She was at home just bored.

Looking down at the desk was the fieldtrip slip and it was signed. She

sighed, her parents were never home.

She always thought why have a child but your never there for them.

Well homework and then off to bed.

Next day was the trip school was cut into a half a day. Everyone was

on the bus going to the museum and most weren't happy about it.

The only reason any of them really went was to get out of class. Plain

and simple.

Walking around the place for an hour now they were getting antsy.

Nobody was interested as the teacher talked.

Turning a corner the teacher said "And here we are the hall of ancient

Greece" looking around the saw statues of different figures.

They stopped in front of one. "This is one of the Three brothers of

the gods Poisden".

"Over here is some famous people like Athena and Demeter ." said the

teacher.

Andi was looking at the pictures that had odd writting on it. "What is

that writing on the pictures?" Andi asked.

The teacher's face lit up at the question. "The writing is Ancient

Greek" she said.
