This is not our Goodbye

Prologue

The grand ballroom of Jaturapoom Hotel is magnificently dashing for tonight's event. Guests from different affluent and elite families in the country are agrandizing the already grandeous gathering.

Everyone are already enjoying the party when the youngest of the Jaturapoom sons came with a grand entrance. All admiring eyes are focused to him and to the person beside him. Curious stares are boring them while the two are walking towards the table where the Jaturapoom family and a special guest are all seated.

Forth and his date stand beside the table as they waited for everybody to stand up.

"Guys I want you to meet... Pring my girlfriend!" Forth introduces to them and turn towards her with his tender eyes.

"Honey meet my family, abuelo and abuela, my mom and dad, P'Earth and his wife P'Yihwa, P'Kong and his borfriend P'Arthit, and my ever supportibe bestfriend Beam Baramee!" Forth happily and excitedly introduces them all to his girlfriend.

Everyone gave her a tender smile. Forths abuela, P'Yihwa and his mom hug her and welcome her to the family. The men shake her hand in acknowledgement. Beam smile at her and also shake her hand.

"So finally the giggolo have met his destined one?!" Beam says while giving them a teasing smile.

"Yeah, you can say that Beammie!" Forth answered with his sheepish smile.

"So Beam is already free from your stupid stuffs. You already have someone to take good care of you Forth! Pring be ready of how a baby Forth could be! Beam had a hard time taking care of his stupid ass everytime! Beam will now have his own life and possibly his own lovelife!" Kong also tease Forth. Pring just smile timidly.

Beam just chuckle. When Forth turns to him!

"You will also have a girlfriend?" Forth ask worriedly to Beam.

"Dont worry Forth you wont be bothered in case I will have, you will be busy with Pring now!" Beam said smiling sweetly at Pring and wink at Forth.

Forth just kept quite and stare at Beam. He was just startled when his brother nudge his shoulder.

"So this calls for a double celebration, the anniversary of the hotel and your relationship with Pring" P'Earth announces while staring intently at Forth.

"Yes a double celebration, Forth havent brought anyone to meet us but you dear. So congratulations to the both of you and welcome to the family!" Yihwa hug her again and smile tenderly.

Forth's wide smile appears as he turn to her girlfriend and peck her on the lips.

The rest of the evening is lively and joyous. The new couple has been the center of everybody's attention.

" So are you sure of this Beam?!" Pha ask Beam while they are inside his bedroom.

"Yes Pha, this is the only way!" Beam smile sadly.

"He might look for you!" Pha reminded him again.

"No he wont, he is happy now! Its more than a month and he havent contacted me. Someone is already taking good care of him! He wont notice that Im no longer around! I have to face my own life. This will help me, I need this specialization" Beam smiles while closing the luggage.

Pha just stare at him with full understanding. He is a friend to Beam and he knows how stubborn he can be. He is so set on his own way that nobody could thwart his mind. He just sigh while looking at Beam who is still busy with packing.

"Beam has been late for a couple of hours already! Mom have you called Beam that we will have the celebration for my birthday today?! I tried to call him yesterday but his phone seems dead" Forth ask his mother anciously. Beam has never been late. He is a doctor and he is always on time, he dont want someone waiting for him.

Pring has yet to come because she is still with a client.

Forth look at his mother when he havent got a response from what he just said. His brows knotted when he saw his whole family's reaction.

"Is there something wrong guys?!" Forth ask curiously.

"Ahm...Forth...son..Have Beam contacted you last month?" his dad ask carefully.

"Last month? No dad we havent talked since...when was the last time we talked?!" Forth tries to remember it while deep in his thoughts.

"Oh... Its during the hotels anniversary celebration!" Forth remembers and his face light up but look around curiously when he saw his whole family are gaping in shock.

"Ohh...that long!" Earth blurts out dazedly.

"Yeah, I didnt realized that its been that long!" Forth grin guiltily.

"Its okay son, you have a girlfriend its understandable that you will give her most of your time. I think Beam understands!" his abuelo said while smiling at him.

"So have you contacted Beam mom, he is late, he will surely pay for being so late!" Forth ask while smiling wickedly.

"Forth, Beam cant come!" Kong announce softly.

"Why? Oh...does he have an important surgery? I will just meet him tomorrow then before Pring and I will travel to the beach!" Forth said thoughtfully.

"Beam is out of the country Forth!!" Arthit said while looking at him.

"He is always busy! When will he come back?! Oh my, Im the best friend but I dont know where he is now! What happened to me!!" Forth exclaimed exasperated with himself. He tug his own hair with his hands.

"We dont know when will he come back, or...if he will ever come back!" his mom dropped the bomb.

"What? What do you mean he wont come back?!" Forth is stunned with what his mom said. His knees suddenly seems wobbly, he just slumped on the couch in a dazed state.

"We dont know where Beam went, he resigned from the hospital and he just call me more than a month ago to inform that he will be migrating. He didnt say which country. Nobody knows where he went and if he will be coming back!" his mom explained to him gently.

Forth just stare blankly at the carpeted floor without saying anything. He bowed his head while in deep thoughts, he felt so numb.

His family just kept quite while staring at him with sympathy. Everyone respects his silence.

After a while, tears dropped on the carpet.

"I thought I did the right thing! Have I given him too much freedom that he chooses to leave...forever?!"

A/N

I will only be posting the first part of this story but I wont be updating unless I have finished all the chapters.

Im not even halfway of this story, I was stuck on my plot but rest assured I will be completing this within a month.
