The Case?

Prologue

Ally woke up earlier than usual, she couldn't go back to sleep so she decided to get everything ready for school and make sure that her homework was done. There was nothing else she could do, and she still had two and a half hours left before school, and that's without including her walking to school, so she wanted to talk to someone then decided to call her best friend Salazar, which took about three calls for him to finally pick up and when he did you could tell that he literally just woke up.

"What do you want Al? Why did you have to call me so early?"

"Well you see I woke up extremely early and I couldn't go back to sleep, and there was nothing else to do, sooooooo I wanted to call my best friend."

"Is there absolutely nothing else you can do because you know how much you tend to forget stuff?"

"Yes, I'm sure that there's nothing else that I can do Salazar."

"You know that I prefer to be called Zar."

"Sorry I keep forgetting, why don't you remember that it takes me a while to start to integrate anything new into my life whether it's important or not. Sooooo have you met that special person yet, since you've been wanting to find someone for you to love and be loved by? If sooooo tell me everything, like who they are, looks-wise, and especially their personality."

"No, I told you that when I even think that there's someone who I might have some potential with that you'd be the very first person to know."

"Hey, when you are ready do you want to walk to school and talk to each other in person instead of talking over the phone?"

"Yeah, just give me a couple of minutes, also I need your help with some homework from our Seventh period teach."

"Of course I'll help you, but we'll try and find someone for you while we're on our way to school. Ok?"

"Fine, but don't make a big deal out of everything, Bye."

It took about ten minutes for Salazar to get ready and come outside so he and Ally could talk, but when he did Ally was ecstatic and decided to jump into his arms with happiness.

"So do you want to go ahead and walk to school or just stand here and wait?"

"Sure I guess that we can go to school even though everyone is just little pieces of shit!"

"I know why can't they just learn how to be decent human beings instead of little spawns of Satan himself?"

"Because they weren't taught any better, why else would they act like that."

"Don't you remember that I was just as bad as them if not worse? I came from the completely wrong side of the tracks and yet I was able to see the error of my ways; so it's not just because they weren't taught any better because neither was I, Al."

"Look, Zar, I'm sorry it's just hard to remember what you use to be like because of how much you've changed. Unlike them you actually saw what your actions were doing to those poor kids, you were the most intelligent out of all of them maybe not academically, but you were able to personally experience what your actions were doing to them after Mar-."

"Don't say her name! You know that's still a touchy subject for me. No-one suspected that she'd commit suicide, but the way she committed suicide and the way she made it clear in her note was very graphic, what we did and how we did it. It still haunts me to this day even after two years."

The entire mood of the conversation just suddenly hit rock bottom, and it felt like something died, or someone. Everything was starting to feel like a spiral of emotions going slowly downward until it crashed and there was nothing left but painful and sorrowful emotions, and all you could feel was Zars' anxiety spike.

"Hey, Zar let's just start to walk to school, and forget about this conversation and try to find you a boyfriend; if you're up for that?

"I don't like to talk about subjects like this, so can we drop this conversation for now and walk to school while chatting. Also since you want to know about my love interest, there is this boy who looks rather interesting and I just recently found out that he's gay, but in the closest.

Ally responded hesitantly.

"R-really? If he came out do you think that he'd give you a chance?"

"I don't know, but it's worth a shot, and besides don't you always tell me to give everything a chance even if I don't think it'll end well to always go with it till the very end."

"Yeah, I did tell you that multiple times."

"It was for the exact same reasons over and over, telling me to give anything and everyone a chance, so do you want to ask me if I should go after someone?"

"Well, with that evidence I guess I have to agree with what you're saying, but what if he's not gay, Then what would you do?"

"Well then we wouldn't be a good couple now would we?"

"Soooooooooo, what is your type, wait what are you a twink, bear, otter, wolf? I need to know, soo I can help you if that closeted gay isn't gay."

"Well for starters he's name is Kyle, and he has shown signs of having feelings for me for your information; He seems like a really nice guy."

"I mean if you think you might have something, and that he has something for you, then go for it maybe he's your true love.

"I mean you never really know until you give it a chance, am I right? Also, don't you even dare try to disagree because I'll use your own words against yourself."

You could feel the mood of the conversation suddenly lift up as if everything was the end of a big storm, or possibly the very beginning of something huge that was soon to come?
