He leaned down and pressed his lips against hers, her body reacting to his touch. She reached out and balled his shirt into her fists and pulled him closer to her.
He breathed in as he pulled away, setting his forehead against hers. "I love you."
She smiled, kissing his lips again. "I love you, Spencer."
He squinted his eyes as he looked at her. "But?"
She chuckled as his skills in reading her. "But I think we should take this slow."
"The opposite of the way we were taking it."
"Right," she said, wrapping her arms around her neck as his settled on her waist. "Maybe go on a date."
"A date?" he chucked, looking into her eyes. "We've done this before."
"Yeah but not officially, not together."
"Because that's not the point of dates, it's-"
She stood on her toes and kissed him again, cutting him off. "I don't care, I want to go on dates, meet your mom.."
"Empty my bank account apparently, too?"
She laughed and kissed him again, her fingers slipping into his hair. He hooked his fingers behind her thighs and lifted her up, setting her on the counter, standing between her legs.
She chuckled and pulled back, his lips moving to her neck. "I thought we just agreed on slow, Spencer."
He only met her eyes and smiled, his fingers hovering over her clothed center. "You want me to stop?"
She gripped his shoulder and held in the moan in her throat. Reid raised his eyebrows and she only shook her head.
"Yeah, that's what I thought."

Avery smiled as she walked through the bullpen, her eyes glued onto the back of Reid's head. She passed her coffees out and smiled, pressing her finger against her lips to not gesture to Reid that she was there.
It'd been about three weeks since they started doing the whole dating thing and everything was going really good.
She'd been so focused on her relationship with Reid that she'd stopped looking into Alex Fischer and his ties to Dean for now.
She walked up behind him and leaned close to his ear before whispering a "hey."
He practically jumped out of his skin, spinning around to look at her. She laughed and set his coffee on the desk, sitting next to it.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" He smiled at her, taking a sip from the coffee.
"I was in the area, I thought I'd come see you."
"In the area, yeah, your office is eighteen miles away." He chuckled, setting a hand on her knee. She smiled and took it, intertwining their fingers.
"Fine," she laughed. "I wanted to see you."
Reid glanced at his team watching them intently and shook his head. "I wanted to see you too. I would show you how much but the entire team is watching us."
"Trying to see if Doctor Reid, the innocent puppy-dog eyed genius, is gonna make a move."
"Right, right," he chuckled. "That's why I have my Normal Spencer facade on."
She rolled her eyes at the reference to an earlier conversation they had. "Innocent was supposed to be the funny part, Spence."
"Innocent, me? Of course." He grinned at her.
"I wonder if they'd still think that if I told them what you did to me the other night in that office-"
"Shh," he laughed, standing up to block the view of her lips. "Yeah, I wonder.."
Her phone dinged in her pocket and she pulled it from her bag, looking at the text. She sighed and turned her smile to Reid. "I gotta go. Dean's calling me into the office."
Reid rolled his eyes and she only smiled again. Reid had a strong dislike towards her boss because he thinks Dean has a crush on her and used her for sources in the Bureau.
"I know, babe-"
"Guys, we got a case!" JJ said as Avery hopped off the desk.
Reid watched the team head towards the conference room as Avery stood on her toes and pressed her lips against Reids. "I love you.."
He kissed her lips quickly before pulling back. "I love you too."
"Go catch bad guys." She smiled at him.
"You too," he smiled, kissing her lips again. "I'll call you when I can."
She smiled and squeezed his hand before walking away, him heading who knows where to catch a psychopath while she went to write about one.
