I continue to scream and sob as I feel the skin around the bite moving
"Max!" I scream out trying to see the red head through tears "Max!" I panic "Maxine!" I cry out
"It's okay baby. I'm right here. I just needed to get some more things for the wound, okay?" I nod through the pain "good girl. I'm here" she kisses my forehead before giving my hand a squeeze
"What is that?" Erica asks
"There's something in there!" Mike states making me scream more
"No!" I sob
"Jesus Christ"
"Keep her talking. Keep her awake, okay?"

Max's pov
I look over at Jonathan as he speaks
"Keep her talking. Keep her away, okay?"
"Okay" I nod as I look down at my girlfriend before Jonathan runs off
"Hey, hey, y/n" I whisper in her ear as level myself down to where she is. Holding myself up on my elbow
"Hey, baby girl. Look at me okay?" She turns her head slightly but continues to scream and sob. Tears sting my eyes but I push them back "Hey love, talk to me okay? What do you wanna talk about?"
"How about that date you both went on?" Dustin Chimes in
"Great idea Dustin, that date y/n how about that?"
She nods
"Do you remember what you did for me?"
She doesn't respond, instead her eyes start to close and her breathing evens out
"Hey,hey,hey,hey, stay awake, stay awake bubba" I speak to y/n "lets get her on this side, this side" I say pointing before steve comes to help me "Easy, easy, easy, easy, easy"
"It's uh-you know, it's not that bad. There was a...the goalie on my soccer team, Beth wildfire, this other girl slid into her leg, and the bone came out of her knee, six inches or something, it was insane" Robin speaks
"Robin" steve speaks up
"Yeah?"
"You're not helping"
"I'm sorry"
I hear y/n start to whimper again which makes me put her head in my lap as I start to play with her fingers with one hand and her hair with the other, I lean down to her ear and start to sing her favourite song 'Every breath you take' by the police because It's the song we had our first kiss to.
"Okay, all right, y/n?" Jonathan comes over to us "this is gonna hurt like hell, okay?"
"Okay" she sobs out
"You need to stay still okay bubba?"
She nods as tears roll down her face
"Here, you're gonna wanna bite down on this, okay?" He hands her a wooden spoon. She reluctantly takes the wooden spoon and puts it in her mouth
"Wait, woah, woah, woah. What the hell are you doing?!" I say when he takes out a red hot knife
"Max, trust me"
"I can't let you hurt her. That's going to hurt so much"
"Hold her back" he states making Lucas grab one of my arms and Mike grab that other
"Do it!" Mike commands making Jonathan dug the tip of the knife into her leg
"Ahhhhh!" Y/n screams out in pain as the knife digs further into the bite on her leg
"No! Stop! Your hurting her! Stop! No! Fuc-" I get cut off by my own sob "stop you son of a bitch! Stop! Please! Stop! No!" I scream until my lungs are raw but I continue through the pain. I push and punch lucas and Mike trying to make them let me go "let me go! Please! Please! Just let me go!" I cry watching as y/n sobs loudly and clenches her teeth around the spoon "Stop! No! Y/n! No! Stop! Let me go!" I yell again kicking and screaming
"Ahhh!" Y/n screams out as Jonathan runs the knife down her leg slowly cutting it open. Blood and puss comes out as y/n's teeth tighten even more around the wooden spoon in her mouth.
Jonathan slowly inserts his fingers into the cut in her leg making me stare at him "Stop! No! Stop!" I scream watching y/n scream even more
"Stop" eleven states making Jonathan stops "I'll do it" she says before walking closer and putting her hand out. Y/n's leg starts to move again as her head shoots back and she howls out in pain
I take the chance of Mike and lucas being distracted and slip out of their grip crawling over to my girlfriend
"Y/n!" I sob looking into her pain filled eyes. I wipe her tears away and kiss her nose gently before resting my hands on her shoulders. She screams out in pain loudly again which makes El scream with makes the glass behind us shatter into a million pieces. I stare at her in shock and watch her closely. Her screams stop and her face softens. It's out. The worst pain is over. thank god.
"Max" she sobs as I look down at her.
"It's okay. I've got you now"
