Rwby (ruby x reader)

A Minor hiccup

Ruby: Those guys we fought at the docks, we think they're up to something big. Something bad! We need you to tell us what happened to you that night. Please. As a friend.

Penny: (sighs and gets up close) It isn't safe to talk here.

We are walking through the streets of Vale as Penny explains what happened

Penny: I wish I could help you two. But I don't know anything about those men.

Ryoko: Well, What happened to you that night? We were all together and then you just disappeared.

Ruby: Were you kidnapped?

Penny: Oh no, nothing like that!

Ruby: Well then where did you go?

Penny: I've never been to another kingdom before. My father asked me not to venture out to far, but, oh you have to understand, my father loves me very much. He just worries a lot.

Ruby: Believe me, I know the feeling.

I stop walking at the sound of this

Penny: Is there something wrong Ryoko?

Ruby understanding why I stopped explained for me.

Ruby: She lost her parents when she was younger. So she doesn't touch that subject much.

Ryoko: (tries my best to smile) Hey, never mind that. But, why not let's know you were ok?

We begin walking again

Penny: I, was asked, not to talk to you guys, or Weiss... or Blake... or Yang... or Y/N. Anybody really.

Ruby: Was your dad that upset?

Penny: No, it wasn't my father.

We overheard Ironwood talk to a crowd a distance away from here.

Ironwood: The Ak130 has been a standard security model of Remnant for several years. And they have done a fine job, wouldn't you agree? Wouldn't you agree? But, the kingdom of Atlas is a kingdom of innovation. And fine, well that's just not good enough is it? Presenting, the Atlesion Knight. 200. Smarter, sleeker and admittedly, a little less scary. These models will become active later this year but they won't be alone. Now, the atlesian military has always supported the idea of moving men from the dangers of the battle field. However, there are still many situations that undoubtedly require, a human touch.

Penny: Ruby, Ryoko...

Ironwood: So, our kingdom's greatest minds, in cooperation with the Schnee Dust Company are proud to introduce, The Atlesian Paladin!

As he said that a hologram of him was replaced with a big robot.

Ironwood: Now we couldn't have them here for you today. But the mechanized battle suits will be seen defending the borders of our kingdom within the year!

Ruby: Woah...

Penny: Ruby, Ryoko... Maybe we should  go somewhere else...

Some soldiers noticed us with Penny and went after us.

Penny runs away from the soldiers.

Ruby: Penny? Wait, where are you going?

And we run after Penny.

Soldier 1: Down here, they went this way!

As we run past the alley, Ruby cuts the pillar that holds crates making them fall.

Ruby: Ryoko! Grab on to my shoulders

Ryoko: Huh? Right. (Grabs on to Ruby shoulders and grabs Penny) This way!

And she uses her super speed to create some distance between us and the soldiers but after a bit she falls down in the middle of the road with Penny and I falling a short ways from her. She was about to get hit by a truck.

Ryoko: Ruby!

As she was about to get hit by a truck, Penny pushes her out of the way and stops the truck.

Ruby: Penny...

Penny: Are you ok?

Shopkeeper: Uh-Huh.

Penny: Umm... Uhh...

All the civilians seemed shocked at what just happened. So Penny ran  past us to the next alley

Ryoko: Penny! Come back!

We run after her.

Ruby: Penny! Please, what is going on? Why are you running? How did you do that?!

Penny: I-I can't. Everything's fine! (Hiccups) I-I don't want to talk about it. (Hiccups)

Ryoko: Penny, if you can just tell us what's wrong we can help you.

Penny: No, no, no, you wouldn't understand.

Ruby: Let is try. You can trust us.

Penny: You're my friend, right? You promise you're my friend?

Ruby/Ryoko: I promise.

Penny: You see... (showing is her hands) I'm not a real girl.

Ruby: Oh.
