Leo who heard his name being called looked up to meet a pair of blue eyes that belonged to ximen

''yes?'' Leo asked

''Please forgive this servant for disturbing your meal but is there anything wrong young master?" ximen asked Leo unable to hide his worries, but before Leo had a chance to answer his father spoke

'' How dare you?! Do not forget your place you servant, you are merely a butler appointed by me to that brat therefore you do not have any right to disturb our meal by such stupid question'' albert spoke rudely

''I'm extremely sorry master but I was just worried about young master Leo not eating his food'' ximen apologized as he bowed down 'he clearly does not care about this little thing' ximen thought

''you! Today is your first day and yet you show such courage to speak to me about that brat, get lost you're fired'' Albert spoke angrily

Leo was taken back when his father told that ximen was fired because it was not even his fault to begin with

''please master, this servant will not repeat this ever again so please master give this servant one more chance'' ximen spoke quickly, he couldn't afford to lose his job on the very first day he needed money to buy the necessary medicine for his mother

''I will not repeat it twice, get out of here and find some other job to cover for your mother's medical bill" Albert raised his voice

Leo didn't know anything about ximen's situation and when he heard that he was in need of money to pay for his mother's medical bill and was getting fired he could no longer sit and watch

''ximen" Leo called out

Hearing his young master calling him he couldn't turn a blind eye on him

"yes young master?" ximen asked slightly nervous thinking his young master wanted him to obey his father

"you are not allowed to leave nor are you fired, did you understand?" Leo stated which took everyone in the room by surprise hearing his authoritative tone

"but young mas- "ximen's sentence was cut off when his young masters heterochromatic eyes that possessed a look that was not there before

'' I asked you if you understood" Leo said not being able to hide his anger

Seeing his young master angry he could not stay silent '' yes, young master'' ximen spoke

''you brat how can you say that he is not fired when I have already fired him" his father raised his voice as he slammed a hand on the table making everyone flinch except Leo

''And what authority do you have on him to make you fire him?'' Leo asked not caring if he would be hit or not

Seeing those blazing heterochromatic eyes almost everyone in the room avoided to look at it and even his father who was all over the situation withdrew his hand and unconsciously backed away, seeing that all the servants in the room was stunned but at the same time scared to see that their master was moving away from a little kid's stare

''o-of course I have the authority, I appointed him after all" his father spoke after getting the courage

''yes you did appoint him but father did you get so old that you even forgot that the person who the butler serves under has the full authority, authority even more than the one appointed him'' Leo spoke mockingly

His father was beyond pissed hearing that a brat managed to shame him in front of other servants and that he couldn't do anything to that butler

'' now that matter is over I will be taking my leave '' Leo spoke as he stood up from his seat and walked out with ximen following him, everyone in the room was surprised to their core to see the young master losing his temper but also worried for him as they know what was going to happen to him

Outside where Leo and ximen was walking ximen was just staring at the little guy remembering what had happened 'he certainly is not like the rumor at all, I guess the rumors are false after all, I feel bad for thinking such things about him, but who would have thought that this little one had it in him to stand up to his father and make everyone quiet with just a gaze'

Ximen suddenly stopped walking confusing the small one as he stopped to look back '' young master Leo, this servant is extremely sorry for causing trouble and please also forgive me for not allowing you to have your breakfast as to which you are with an empty stomach, this servant is extremely grateful to his young master who stood up for him and helped him'' ximen said with utmost sincerity 'he didn't know how to make up to the little one for all he did for him within that short period of time .''*sigh* I'm so done with you" Leo spoke
