i hope you're sorry,
for breaking a young girls heart,
for shattering every inch of hope she had,
you made her into a reckless human,
did you enjoy causing pain?
it seemed like you did,
you smashed mirrors but looked for a reflection,
but you couldn't have one,
so you tried to put the pieces back but you'd lost some:
and broken other bits too much,
you couldn't be yourself anymore,
you no longer had a mirror
so maybe it's not just the girls heart you broke;
Maybe your own heart is bleeding too.
