The following day, Kazuichi and Chiaki invited me to go out and about around the island doing random stuff. I was honestly okay with this though, I needed a break from my thoughts and memories that seemed to keep seeping in somehow.

I strolled down the small path way,  that made it's way up to the restaurant which seemed to become a meeting place for us almost every day.
The loud sound of my shoes hitting the pathway was the only sound I heard besides the breeze from the water, which happened every time I walked down the path.

I was a bit late so I wasn't expecting most of my classmates to be at the restaurant .
I ran up the small flight of steps to the top and saw Teru Teru scurrying around the restaurant getting ready for lunch, I had barley realized it was already about 1:00 PM.

"Food will be ready any minute if your hungry!" Teru Teru yelled from the kitchen. I replied back,

"Okay, also don't rush it's no problem for me to wait."

I wondered why not many people chatted about his food.
It was honestly really good.
I leaned back in my chair waiting for my other friends to arrive, at least the ones I've made.
"Thanks, Teru Teru for the food."
I handed him the plate containing scattered crumbs.

"No problem Hajime, always happy to severe my greatest cuisine!" He happily walked off to the kitchen, a bright smile smeared on his face, with my unclean plate ready to be cleaned. I sat silently awaiting anyone.

I pondered for a while wondering what my friends were taking me out to do and when they would arrive. I heard a slight bit of arguing as well as a few people creeping up the few stairs.

"This is ridiculous you've hated him for no reason, come on dude!" Kazuichi's faint voice was heard from around the corner.
"At least....just try to get along with him..." Chiaki's soft voice seemed to scold whoever she was talking to.
"Okay....I'll try. For you guys..." I heard another voice but couldn't make out who it was. They rounded the small corner appearing with the boy walking between them.
I stood up in annoyance.

Why was he here....
They all came to a stop when they saw me. I avoided eye contact with the boy standing in the middle of the little trio the stood before me.

"Hajime dude! How's it going?" Kazuichi played it off greeting me.
"I'm good just...I was waiting for you two." I directly looked at the tall lanky boy crossing my arms.
I was really done with his bullcrap.
It was strange though, I noticed it....
He had a strange glare in his eye, it almost felt directed at me.
It reminded me of that day at school before....well before he joined that small group of boys.

I looked down at my feet wiping the thoughts out of my mind.
"So, I was thinking we could all go out and do something." Chiaki explained.
Oh so she wanted him to come too....just great.
I glared him Again, turning my attention to Chiaki changing my expression.
"What, exactly were you thinking about doing?"
"Well we were thinking maybe we could all go to titty typhoon." Kazuichi smiled too brightly and I hoped Sonia wouldn't be there, it hurt to watch his expression on his face.

"Yeah I think ibuki's going to play some music or something like that, but that's a bit later." Chiaki shifted her weight and looked over at the boy next to her who looked a bit sad and then back at me clearly upset. She looked down crossing her arms.
"You two don't get it do you?" She shook her head.
"You guys can't just stay mad at each other like this forever right? I think you two can get over this."'she smiled warmly. Kazuichi looked over trying to avoid engaging in the conversation.

It was silent and no one said anything.
"Come on guys let's go!" Kazuichi motioned us to the stairs as he ran fast ahead. She looked over at both of us standing there and gazed her eyes back at the stairs.
"Kazuichi Wait up!" Chiaki ran after him laughing along the way and flying down the flight of stairs.
