I walked over to the door, and I was extremely shocked when I saw my dad standing in the doorway.

“Daddy!” I squealed and ran into his arms. Cupcake quickly running after me, playing at my dad's feet. “What are you doing here?!”

He smiled, dropping the hug. “Can't I come and visit my baby girl?”

I smirked. “Of course you can daddy. Are you here by yourself?”

My dad shook his head. “No, your mother and your sisters are back at the hotel, I was sent to kidnap you.” He joked, the wrinkles around his eyes formed when he laughed.

I held out my hands. “Considered me kidnapped. I'm ready to see them!”

My dad laughed at me. “When did you get a dog?” He questioned, finally noticing the puppy, who wasn't a baby any more.

As I grabbed my sweater, I looked back to them. “Um, a couple of months ago.” I slipped on the gray fabric and led my dad out of the apartment. Taking two different cars, I followed him to the hotel my family was staying at.

When we walked into the lobby, I was nearly attacked my little sisters. “SUNNY!!” They yelled, wrapping their arms around my body. And honestly I didn't care. I pulled them closer, wrapping my arms around them.

“Are we ready to go to the restaurant?” My mom questioned, herding us back outside.

We took one car to the restaurant, and by the time we got there, my face hurt from all the smiling I had done. I missed my family.

“Masons; party of five?” The blond hostess called out. She led us back to a round table in the back of the building.

“So, Avery, tell me about that movie Disney wants you to do.” My mom said when we settled into our seats.

“Well, shooting starts in the new year, in New York.” I couldn't help but glow as I talked about my upcoming project. “But I leave for set a week after Christmas.”

“What's the movie about?” Dani questioned eagerly. That was when I noticed for the first time her brown hair was past her shoulder blades and she was wearing glassed. Man, I've missed a lot...

“Um, I'm not quiet sure what the movie is about. I haven't go the script yet.” I admitted sheepishly.

The busboy came to clear our plates, leaving us with our drinks.

“Daddy, can we have dessert?” Cj pulled at our dad's sleeve. He chuckled, giving into his youngest daughter with Down Syndrome.

When the waiter came to take our dessert order, I am to go with my heart and order my all time favorite; Oreo cheesecake.

“So, girls, what's new with you guys?” I questioned my little sisters. And as much as I love my life her in LA, I couldn't help but miss my family back home in Chicago.

After dinner, as my dad went to get the car, me, my mom, and the girls stood outside waiting for him to pull up. At least that's what I though was happening until my mom started to panic.

“Where's Cj?!” Her voice was an octave higher than usual. My heart stopped beating. “Avery, where is your sister?”

The reality of the situation hit me. “I'll check inside, you look around here. Call me if you find her.” I made a plan and ran into the restaurant.

“Cassidy Joy?!” I called out, hoping she would come out. No such luck. I was freaking out, tears were brimming my hazel eyes. Than I heard her laughing.
