We open on a little coffee shop in a strip mall. A charming little hole-in-the-wall with a few outdoor, pub-style tables and chairs out front. It looks to be artsy but not ultra-hipster. The decal on the window reads: "Café 160".

The hissing sound of the steamer can be heard fading out in the background as a deep, wide, plain-white cup is walked across the floor. The hands that carry the cup are dried and cracked around the edges, strong looking, but feminine and neatly manicured.
