Notes From A Nightmare? Pt. 1(Nightmare X Child! Innocent! 'Crazy'! Reader)

A/N: In this one, you're called 'crazy' by people because you love dangerous stuff. You're in an asylum (not Asylumtale) and trapped in there. I won't tell what happened next bc NO spoilers. Anyway, onto the story. (Also, Nightmare is in his uncorrupted form)

Y/N POV
It's midnight but I still can't sleep! The security guard is still awake too. I sat on the corner of my room waiting for notes. Yes, notes. By who? Someone called 'Nightmare'. He always send notes to me at night. He would send me a paper with some words written on it. Then, I will write my answers or what I want to talk about. Words will starts to appear by itself. It's been happening since a long time ago. Even before I got into this place. I waited and waited until a note fall from the top. The note says:

Hello, Y/N. I'm Nightmare. Call me Night if you want. Are you bored? If you are, how about you play with me? I will make the guards sleep and free you so we can play. You know the Cherry Hill Park right? Go to the park. I'll be waiting for you...

I was shocked and looked through my room. The security guards are asleep! I ran out in silence and went to the Cherry Hill Park like what the note says. I found another note. It says:

Hello, Y/N. You want to play right? Find these things and come back here. If you see a white skeleton after putting all the stuff down, then you did it! However, if there is no skeleton nor anyone after putting them, you either forgot something or have the wrong items. I hid everything in this park. Here is the things you must find:
A black diamond
A black feather
A black jacket

~Nightmare

I started searching for the things in the list. It's so fun! I found everything too! I put it in the place where I found the note. A white skeleton appeared in front of me. "Yay! I did it!" I screamed. "Yes, you do Y/N but please slow down your voice" the skeleton said. "Oops, oki Mr. Skeleton" I said. "Who are you?" I asked. "I'm Nightmare. The one that sent the notes to you, Y/N" the skeleton said. "Oh, so you are Mr. Nightmare? Nice to meet you" I said. I finally can meet Mr. Nightmare! I got onto his back and we went a dark, gloomy castle. He dropped me down but I'm too scared so I hugged him. "What's wrong Y/N?" Mr. Nightmare asked. "I'm scared" I said as I hugged him closer. " Don't worry. I live here and no one will hurt you. I promised" he said. "Really? Oki!" I said. Yay! Mr. Nightmare is going to protect me! We went into the castle and saw some other skeletons. All of them look scary. One is black and glitchy, one have a broken skull, one have dark goo going out of his eyesockets, one have a big, giant knife and one wears a hoodie but there's a floating head around him. "I'm back" Mr. Nightmare said as the other skeletons looked at us. "E-eep!" I screamed as I hid behind Mr. Nightmare and hugged his legs. "Who's that, NM?" the glitchy one asked. "This is Y/N. Y/N, it's okay. They're my friend" Mr. Nightmare said to me. "O-okay.." I said as I slowly went out from behind Mr. Nightmare. "Y/N, the one that's black is Error, the one with the broken skull is Horror, the one with goo going out of his eyes is Killer, the one with the big knife is Cross and the one with the hoodie is Dust. Guys, this is Y/N. She's just a little child so DO NOT kill her or you'll pay" Mr. Nightmare said. I was confused. "Who is the floating head then?" I asked. They all seemed shocked.

Nightmare POV
"Who is the floating head then?" Y/N asked. Oh my god. She can see Dust's Papyrus?! How?! No one else than me and the other sanses (including the star sanses) can see him! We were all SHOOK. "C-can you see me?" Dust's Papyrus asked. "Mmhmm!" She 'said' as she nodded. "Is it bad if I see you?" Y/N asked. "No human can see Papyrus because he is a ghost. It's a surprise that you can" I explained. " Ooh. So he is a ghost and his name is Papyrus?" She asked. "Yes human. I'm Papyrus. Nice to meet you" Papyrus said as he offered his hand for a handshake. She shook his hand. Dust and the others is still shocked. "Guys, snap out of it" I said as they snap out of it. "Umm yeah, what should we do with her? " Cross asked. "We keep her from now on. Don't try to kill her... Horror, Killer, Dust?" I said. " Yeah, yeah fine" Dust, Killer and Horror said with dissapointment. "Am I staying with you, Mr. Nightmare?" Y/N asked cutely with her eyes shining. "Yes you are sweetie" I said. "Yay!" She exclaimed as she raised her hands in happiness. "Heh, c'mon. I'll show you your room, Y/N" I said as I took her hand. "Oki!" she said cheerfully as she followed me to a big room with a big comfy bed. "-gasp- Woohoo!" She exclaimed as she jumped onto the bed. "Hehe, do you like it?" I asked. "Yes! -yawn- mmm, I wanna -yawn- s-sleep a-ahh" she exclaimed as she falls asleep on the bed. I giggles and went out of her room. I went out and was surprised by the others that are standing outside the room. "What do you want?" I asked coldly. "Why should we keep her? And why are you acting nice to her?" Dust asked. "Maybe because she is less trouble than you guys are. And it's none of your flippin' business" I said as I blushed slight purple. "Oooooo~ Nightmare's in love~" Killer teased me. "N-no I'm not" I said as I blushed darker. "C'mon. It's obvious you are" Cross said. "Fine I am so what? She's cute and adorable" I said as I turned my skull away. "Bro, that makes you a pedo. You're like 200 years old and she's like 5 dude" Horror said. "I don't care. She's cute, adorable amd MINE. Don't even think of flirting with her" I said almost turning to my corrupted form. "Yeahhhhhh, like we want. We left you alone then. Let's go guys for goodness sake" Error said as they all left. I went to my room and sleep.
