[Tin x Can] If Only I Could Trust

Chapter 12: Part 1

A/N: Tul can I slap your face now?

'Can you didn't have to come here with me. It's not safe.' I looked around to see what guards were outside. Luckily there were only a few.

'After this we leave right? Why go all the way back to my home when the airport is closer to here? Hurry up and go before they suspect something. Besides no one can hear or see anything. I will wait for you here.' He did have a point. I kissed him on the forehead before leaving the car, locking it behind me.

I entered the front door and I was greeted by my father. This was a first. I eyed him coldly and proceeded to brush passed him. I was still angry with him for wanting me to stay away from Can.

'Tin, are you done now? It's early but have you stopped pursuing that man? Stay home, I'd like to talk to you.' His voice was kind but wasn't it a little too late?

'No, I'm not done. You gave me a week so I want to see him for a week. I've been sleeping in my car so I just came back for changes of clothes. I don't like living like an animal.' I didn't even look at him.

'Then continue. I will see you here at the end of the seventh day.' I started to walk away when I saw Tul wheel himself up to me as if nothing happened.

'Welcome home brother.' His innocent expression and smile set me off. This must be a game to him.

There was something inside of me that broke when I saw him. My anger bubbled up inside of me and before I was aware of my actions I was standing over him strangling him. My sight turned red and I only heard and saw him. He was flailing in the chair, trying to hit my arms to stop me from taking his capacity to breathe away.

Right away I was grabbed from behind and yanked away by three guards. I felt like I was losing my mind when I saw him. All I wanted to do was end his reign of terrorizing everyone. My father turned my head to look at him.

'Stop it Tin. He doesn't remember anything!' The pleading look in his eyes brought me back. I wasn't supposed to be doing this, damn it. I relaxed my stance and the guards let me go.

I watched my brother wheezing and coughing, holding his neck. The look of fear in his eyes was unnatural to see. Did he really lose his memory or was he lying like he did with everything else? Even if this was real he could never be trusted, that's why we are going away.

'I'm going to gather my things.' I glared at Tul dryly.

'Afterward come to my office.' My father stated but I didn't acknowledge him and started walking up the stairs.

Once I got my things and my hidden money from my room I headed back out. I turned around and took a good look. My heart was racing because this was it. There would be no turning back when I close this door to open a new path to my life. My life with Can.

I slammed the door closed and headed to my dad's office. Without knocking I went straight in, not bothering to shut the door behind me. I watched him shake his head at my rudeness but he didn't reprimand me for it. I dropped into the chair and stared him in his eyes. I wanted to make sure that he knew I wasn't happy.

'Before you start talking, I want to tell you something. So let this sink in for you. You have left me no choice but to be how I will be. I'll even help you out by leaving early, I booked my ticket for tomorrow. I'll come back tonight and say goodbye except to that piece of shit Tul. For the record, I don't give a damn what he remembers or doesn't. It changes nothing from what he has done.'

I couldn't contain the anger in my voice from thinking of my brother as I continued.

'Furthermore, Can now has a girlfriend so you don't have to worry about us being together. He's left me for good. I'm sure that brings you much happiness. I'm under your control now...Where's mother?'

'She's taking care of Tul.' He looked slightly worried at what I would do with this information.

I laughed condescendingly. 'Of course she is. A deranged son is better than her actual one.' Standing up I grabbed my things and headed to the door. 'Actually, let's delay this talk until tonight. I want to see Can once more and then I will be back to hear all of your bullshit.' 

I left him speechless as I slammed this door shut as well.

Before I reached the car I received a text. I blinked in confusion when I saw it was from my father. I was almost scared to read it but I did.

Father: You would not have a huge bag if you were coming back tonight. Delete this message and I will do the same and will not tell your mother. Wherever you are going I don't blame you. I deposited 10 million into your bank account. Only I am able to view the amounts on your black card only. I love you Tin and I'm sorry for not being a good father to you. No matter the consequence, you are my son.

I almost fell to the ground from shock. He knew. He was indeed a smart man. I had underestimated my father all along. I wasn't sure if he figured I was with Can but he has to know. Why else would I make a run for it? Looking back to the house, I stared a long time before walking away to the car. 

I didn't say anything once in and I just sat there for a second before grabbing Can's hand and pulling out the way I came.

Can bounced next to me with excitement. I could almost see and hear the wheels in his head turning as we walked towards my plane. He was nearly doing a 360 degree turn looking around the area. I led him up the stairs and into the cabin where he ran in like a fool almost tripping over himself. 

He was all smiles and I smiled back and shook my head. He was lost for a good five minutes before he ran back to the front again out of breath. Ignoring the staff he jumped onto my body in excitement hugging me tightly. I hugged him back and kissed his forehead before he realized people were watching. Awkwardly he settled down, placing his feet on the carpeted floor.

'Sir, I don't mean to interrupt but please take your seat with your guest. We will take off to London very soon.' The steward informed us.

Can made it to his chair in record time before I could even turn around. I laughed quietly before taking my place next to him. My crazy monkey.

A/N: London isn't the settlement place but Tin has his own reasons for going there first. Any one guess this city? Hmm, I wonder what reasons he has. I'll give a special shout out if any one can guess 😆.
