Many chains I've carried
Tied to my back;
Each ring is a flashback,
In white & black,
Keeping me off track,
And holding me back
From coming back.Yet now I have the keys,
Release! Each scar;
I throw them afar
From the mountain ridge;
Now they're drifting,
In the water under the bridge.AN: "water under the bridge" is a phrase (an idiom) that metaphorically refers to events that happened in the past and aren't important anymore.
