Ch.12

Dib spotted a familiar, dead Irken near the front podium where Red would stand.

"Tak's......dead!" said Dib, sadly.

Sure, Tak tried to hollow out the Earth and stuff it with snacks, but she didn't deserve to die!

Skoodge sniffed, trying not to cry as he stared at the scene in front of them.

"PLEASE! DON'T KILL ME!!!" yelled Tallest Red.

Dib and Skoodge turned and gasped.

They saw Zim, standing on three of his spider legs, the other managing to wrap around Tallest Red's neck, holding him up.

Zim looked different though. His skin was tinted grey, and his eyes were glowing a bright blue. He had some Irken blood splattered on his skin and clothes, making it clear that it was him who killed the guards.

Zim didn't say anything.

His eyes narrowed and he tightened his grip around the Tallests neck.

Red started gasping for air.

"ZIM!" shouted Dib, running forward.

Hearing the human's voice, Zim turned his head in the direction and glared at him, narrowing his eyes.

"Zim! It's me, Dib!" said Dib, turning the holographic disguise off.

The Irken cocked his head, his eyes narrowing even more, glaring at the human.

"Zim, I'm your friend! I-I...I'm sorry for what I did before! I didn't mean for this to happen. I just wanted the Swollen Eyeballs to look through your PAK for any information on the Irken Armada so they could help stop them! I was going to give them strict instructions to NOT operate on you. I swear Zim, this is all my fault! Please, you HAVE to listen to me!" admitted Dib.

Unfortunately, Zim wasn't himself anymore.

In fact, all of his memories had been erased to make room for the Era II Irken Invader Programing in his PAK.

Zim let go of Tallest Red, letting him fall to the floor.

Red fell on his side, coughing and weezing as he tried to breath.

It only took 0.2 seconds for Zim to appear in front of Dib, grabbing him with his mechanical spider leg and lifting him up, choking him.

Skoodge gasped in fright.

"He's too fast!" he exclaimed.

"Yah, n-no kidding Sh-Sherlock!" yelled Dib in annoyance, glaring at the short, chubby Irken behind him.

"What's a Sher-lock?" asked Skoodge, scratching his head in confusion.

"NEVER MIND THAT RIGHT NOW!!!!" shouted Dib in anger.

Dib was suddenly thrown across the room, getting tangled in a bunch of wires that were connected to the Control Brains.

Dib groaned in pain, rubbing his head.

He gasped when he opened his eyes and saw that Zim was running at him full speed, his mechanical spider legs barely touching the metal floor.

Dib screamed and looked around.

Glancing up, he decided to climb the cables and wires.

Dib untangled himself from the bunches of wires and started climbing up, narrowly avoiding the sharp, pointy spider legs of Zim's PAK as he jumped up and attempted to stab the human.

Dib was now on the Left Control Brain, looking down and watching Zim climb up after him.

The Irken launched himself upwards before driving his spider legs into the Left Control Brain.
