"Are you sure about this?" I arched my eyebrow at Sadie, who was applying some lipstick, leaning against our bathroom counter. The way her body was angled pushed her perfect ass out towards me and it was physically painful not to grab it. The very last thing I wanted to do tonight was leave the house. "We can just tell them you're not feeling well."

Sadie smiled placatingly. "I appreciate that, Brandon, and honestly, I'd like nothing more than to stay home with you tonight." I perked up. "But..."

That damn but. I hated that word, especially when it meant I wasn't going to get my way.

"But we told your mom we'd come. We're going to go to your parents, and we're going to have dinner, and then we're going to come home and you're going to fuck me like you're not afraid to break me."

I let out a sharp laugh, her response catching me completely off guard. "Can we just skip to the end of that? Because I can make that happen right now..." I gripped her hipbones, pulling her towards me.

Sadie wasn't amused, narrowing her eyes at me and crossing her arms over her chest.

"Fine." I chuckled. "We'll have dinner, but I'm not staying for dessert. You brought that on yourself by dangling that sex carrot out in front of me."

Sadie laughed, rolling her eyes. "Deal. We'll come home right after dinner."

"Pleasure doing business with you, my love." I smirked, offering her my hand as if we had just negotiated a business deal. The only reason I was okay with this was because I knew my mom had invited Adam, and Sadie would be thrilled. She hadn't seen him since before he was shot.

The drive to my parents was quick, and we made small talk the entire way. She didn't press me on what I had done at work today, which I was thankful for. I'd have to be honest with her if she asked, and knowing what I had done today wouldn't make her feel better in the slightest. I parked the car, hoping to get this done as quickly as possible. I had a lot of pent-up anger and energy from today and her request to fuck her like she wouldn't break was just the remedy.

Sadie intertwined her fingers in mine as we walked inside. Dinner was much more enjoyable than I had expected. Jav and Ro also joined us, and I loved seeing the way Sadie lit up when she saw Adam. My mother had cooked just about everything she knew how to, and we all ate until we were thoroughly stuffed. Alex and I made plans to finish things with Herrera tomorrow and it already felt like a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders. I would be glad when all this was behind us and we could focus on our future.

We said our goodbyes and Sadie ad I headed outside.

"Can we get ice cream on the way home?" She asked, batting those sweet eyelashes at me.

"Ice cream?" I burst out laughing, caught a little off guard."If that's what you want..."

"It's not what I want, Brandon, it's what the baby wants." She resrted her hand on her stomach. There was the lightest bulge to it, and that site drove me wild.

"Oh well in that case, we definitely can. We better hurry, can't keep baby waiting." I kissed her.

"Oh no! I left my jacket inside." She said.

"You go ahead and get in the car, I'll go get it." I kissed her cheek and turned back towards the house.

I needed to find Herrera, and the second that I was alone, I knew I had to take my opportunity.

When we were talking, Adam had let it slip that Brandon was holding both Dante and Herrera here. I tried to put it out of my mind and just enjoy the evening, but it had consumed me. I had to face him, and I knew Brandon would never let that happen if he had any say. If he was holding them here, it was most likely in the old tombs and I was pretty sure I could find my way down there.

Brandon kept a gun in his glove compartment and luckily for me, it was unlocked. I reached inside and took the gun out, sucking in sharp breathe as I held it in my hand. I didn't even know how to use this damn thing, what exactly did I plan on doing with it?

I held it tightly and headed around the side of the house. I had only been down here once before and it hadn't been in the dark like this. Surprisingly it was easy for me to find the door, and I made my way through the maze of hallways and stairs until I found what I was looking for. I stood in front of a large wooden door that had a padlock on it. Damn it. I hadn't been expecting it to be locked.

I tugged on it for a few seconds to no avail. How the hell was I going to get inside? Without any other options, I pointed the gun towards the lock and pulled the trigger back. Nothing came out at first. I checked the safety, and switched it to the off position and fired again. This time the lock blew to smithereens.

The door was heavy as I pushed it open, immediately knocked back by the stench. This place was disgusting, but I had to push through. A few dim lights were on, and I couldn't shake the eerie feeling I had as I made my way down the long hall. It was lined with individual cells, most of which looked like they hadn't been used in years.

I went through another doorway and flipped on a light. A loud groan came from the corner and I turned towards it quickly, fanning the gun out in front of me.

"Well, this is quite a surprise." Herrera chuckled, wandering over to the gate on his cell. He was a bloody mess, hardly recognizable and I stood frozen with fear in front of him.

The last time I had seen this man, he had attacked me and left me for dead. That wouldn't happen this time though.

This time I had the upper hand.
