The moon and stars
In the dark night sky
They remind me of you
So bright, so beautiful, so far away.
Perhaps we still remember
Perhaps we had forgotten
Our first meeting
Our last farewell
Perhaps you will never remember
Perhaps you'd forgotten
But I still remember
I haven't forgotten
Our first encounter
We weren't together for long
But it's long enough
For you to affect me
For the effect was you reminding me
Of things I thought I've lost
Meeting you brought back memories
Seeing you made me remember again
Watching you brought back the feelings
That I thought I've lost for good
Seeing you chasing your dreams
Reminds me of my own dreams
You may not know this
But you made me dream the dream I've once dreamed
You made me want to achieve the goals I've once set
You gave me the strength to dream again
When I was ready to stop and give up
You who's like the moon and stars
So bright, so beautiful, so far away
Your dream have brought you far
While I have yet moved from this spot
It's sad, I'm aware, for I have not the courage
The feeling of achieving, it feels so estranged
You awoken something within
That I thought was long gone, dead
But still, yet, here I am, unmoving
Pathetic, scared, all the bad feelings
Strongly molded, sturdy
In between the spaces of my head
You, who's like the moon and stars
So bright, so beautiful, so far away
I'm afraid to stretch my hand out
You're too far for me to touch
Let alone hold
But no matter
Like the moon and stars
Up in the pitch black sky
I can always see you
Shining brightly, sparkling
You wouldn't know
But I'll be watching you
I'm content with that
The moon and stars
In the dark night sky
They remind me of you
So bright, so beautiful, so far away
