I stayed silent for a while. The silence that filled the house did nothing but help me to remember all the hurtful words he has ever said to me. I honestly don't know why I keep trying to win him over. I huffed out a breath, "So why don't you divorce me and get it over with?"

"Do you know how many times I've tried?"

"Oh..."

"My one and only wish is to be as far away from you and move on with the love of my life. Now if you'll excuse me, I have better stuff to do than to stand here and have a pointless argument with you."

Well this will shut me up for the rest of the week...

He pushed past me and headed up to his office.

Oh my gosh, what kind of man did I marry?

"Gabriella!" His heavy footsteps stomped down the stairs. When he found me in the dining room, he rushed into my face, "What the hell did you do to my room?!"

"I rearranged it... Don't you like it?"

"Don't play with me Gabriella, where are my clothes?" He raked his fingers through his hair.

"Would you really like to know where they are? "

He slammed his hands on the table,"Stop beating around the bush and answer my question!"

"Fine. I burned all your clothes. The ashes are in the garbage outside. "

"What?!"

I half shrugged, "You wanted to know where your clothes were so, I told you. You should have expected it Andrew."

He pinched the bridge of his nose,"For your own good, you better be joking. "

I raised my brow at him, "Joking? Follow me." I walked out to the backyard with him hot on my heels. I opened the lid of the trash can and leaned the bin towards him, "Does it look like I'm joking to you?" A wicked smile tugged at the corner of my lips.

"You-" he balled up his hands into fists. "I'm sick and tired of you!" He yelled frustratedly.

I smirked,"Are you surprised that I did something like this?"

"How the hell did you get into my room, I locked it."

"Well I unlocked it dummy, can't you tell?"

He pointed into the house, "You're going to go up to that room and put everything back in its place right now."

"No."

"No? Gabriella that wasn't an option. I'm telling you to go and clean the mess you made in my room now!"

"I'm not doing anything until you apologize to me and break up with Amelia. If that's not done then I won't be doing anything."

He scoffed, "You have a thick skull, don't you?" He walked closer to me and leaned towards my ear, til his breath fanned my ear, "Listen to me carefully. I don't need to do that. Not for you or anyone else."

How could he be this brutal?  I'm honestly trying to salvage my marriage and he sees such an act as a crime. Why didn't my parents leave me alone to marry Neil instead? My life would have been so much better.
I turned to look at him, "So... You won't do anything to fix our marriage, right?"

"Yes."

"You don't care if you hurt my feelings or if anything that you do rubs me the wrong way, right?"

"Yep."

"So obviously you don't like me the way I like you?" His body stiffened at my remark; for just a split second his indifferent facade faltered before his taut face went blank again.
