Alex Rider looked up.

And a lot of things made sense.

Above his head was a symbol of a cornucopia.

A voice broke out through the whispers that arose.

"All hail Alex Rider, son of Tyche, goddess of luck."

"Your father had the luck of the devil on his side."

"Alex Rider has the Luck of the Devil."

Alex Rider had continually surpassed all expectations laid out for him by MI6 operatives, Scorpia, Jack, and even himself. It would make sense if the reason he was able to do those things was because he truly did have the luck of the devil on his side, or more accurately, the luck of a goddess. A goddess who was his mother.

Alex was Alex and wasn't sure what to do.

His friends did though, Alexis, Jeremiah, Butch, and a kid form the Apollo Cabin named Simon.

Friends,

Why wouldn't Alex tell anyone the whole truth.

His friends lifted him up onto their shoulders and started chanting,

"ALEX RIDER THE UNO CHAMP, ALEX RIDER THE UNO CHAMP, HIS LUCK IS TOO MUCH FOR CAMP!"

It was a great day. Alex got to move out of the Hermès Cabin, his stuff had arrived, he set up in his cabin, he met his half sister, and he won capture the flag.

HIs half-sister, Chiara, was the head and only resident of the Tyche Cabin. She showed helped him adjust to the new space.

The main part of the Tyche cabin looked like a casino, but Chira showed him how to change it with a snap of his fingers to bring up a couple of couches and two beds.

"That one's yours," said Chiara pointing to a bed on the far right corner.

She was on the close left corner. He actually had places to put his stuff, which made him thrilled. He was glad to change into clean clothes that didn't smell like strawberries.

After word he was supposed to go to lunch, but instead Chiara let him nap.

HI nap didn't last very long as when Chiara came into the cabin fuming.

She sobered up when she saw Alex.

She put on a genuine smile.

"Look, Alex," I'm not used to sharing this place, or having a sibling. This is going to be an adjustment for both of us.

Alex thought about it for a second; He had a sister. It was definitely different than what he was used to, but he could deal with it. He supposed having an older sister would be similar to the relationship between him and Jack Starbright.

And as for capture-the-flag, that was a bit of an experience.

It was Athena, Ares, Nemesis, Hebe, Hecate, Apollo, Aphrodite, Nike, Demeter, and Hypnos against Poseidon, Hermès, Tyche, Hades, Hephaestus, Dionysus, and Iris.

Alex had heard people talking about the game for a while. It was supposed to be epic.

Alex wasn't expecting much, but then he found out how it was played.

"Try not to maim anyone, remember who's on your team, don't get captured, and stay out of the way," said Chiara as she piled medival armor, helmet, and a sword in his outstretched arms.
