Chapter 13: Part 1/3

Start from the beginning

"Does she have brown hair?" Chat interuppted. I jerked my head, could he have seen the same person too? "Well I saw her running through the crowds while I was making my way over here. She was that way," Chat pointed to the street on the right. On the left, was the bakery.

Having this cat, can be really helpful sometimes. Only sometimes.

I started running towards the street, but saw something out of the corner of my eye. On my left was a person with brown hair. I was the same lady from before! I grabbed Chats hand and pulled him down to the ground. He fell backwards and on his back. He groaned and grabbed his head.

"Lad-" I covered his mouth, and pointed towards the women. He looked in that direction and instantly sat up. Turning my gaze back to the women, I stared at her. Eager to know what she was going to do. She looked around, before jumping onto my house. On instinct, I jerked up but only to be tugged on my hand back on the ground. I looked at Chat with a worried look on my face I'm sure. He put a finger on his lips, and squeezed my hand. I turned back, but I couldn't see her anymore. I jumped up on my feet, and let go of his hand. I sprinted as fast as I could, determination filling me up.

"Ladybug!" he heard him yell, but I chose to ignore it.

I jumped through my window and into my bedroom. I looked around my room, until I spotted a familiar person in the corner. I turned toward the women, but didn't get to look at her much more, before I blacked out.

I woke up on my floor confused. Throbbing pain overcame my head. grabbing my head with my hands, I slowly stood up and looked around.

To my surprise no one was there, everything looked just as I left it. My computer was off, my bed was nicely made, and the sketches on the floor were still there. Everything was completely normal. I walked toward my desk and looked around, wanting to notice something. Anything to prove someone was here. I couldn't help but wonder why I was up here. I walked back over to my window and jumped out, feeling disappointed. But eager.

"I'm sorry I ran off back there," I looked at the ground embarrassed. "Nothing was there, nothing was different. Everything was the same. I don't know what happened or where she went." I stood there for a second. Silence was only there, me and my beating heart was the only noise I could hear. Chat didn't want to speak with me, I wouldn't mind if he didn't want to talk to me again. When he didn't continue to answer I kept going.

"My most logical answer is she went north, following that street." I lifted my head and pointed behind me. "We need to go check that out before anything else," I looked back towards Chat direction and nearly choked on my air. He wasn't there.

Chat wasn't there.

My mind raced with terrible ideas. 'He ran off without me, he was too annoyed that he wanted to do it himself or, something or someone else happened.'  I could feel my heart beating at a uncontrollable pace. All I hoped, was that he was okay. I pulled out my yoyo and started dialing him. We would usually do this if we couldn't find each other, or it was just another way to communicate. I put the yoyo up to my ear. It started ringing, and ringing, and didn't stop. Then his voicemail played.

"Has the cat got your tongue? Leave a message, beep!" I wanted to groan so bad at that moment, but I held it in. Not in this situation, would I get mad. I don't know what danger he's in, so I can't get mad.

My feet seemed to move on their own, moving me up and down the streets of Paris. Through alley's, parks, over bridges, and through some more streets. Yelling his name continuously, getting louder every time. Not only was Chat missing, but so were the people. Hopefully they were all save and sound. The one place that I haven't checked yet was the Eiffel tower, and I feel like stuff always happens there. Don't ask me why.
