"Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost.
It's empty and cold without you here, to many people to ache over.
I see my vision burn I feel my memories fade with time, but I'm too young to worry.
These streets we traveled on will undergo our same lost past."
Seize the day- avenged sevenfoldBaileys P.O.V.

"Goodnight my little love. I'll see you tomorrow. Remember bails. You will be great one day. Doing great things with your life. You can and will do anything your big heart desires and don't you ever forget that."
She lays a kiss on my forehead. I stare up at my entire world. The one that makes me feel so big in an even bigger, cruel world.
She's my safe place.
My mom.
I smile at her before she creaks the door shut. Soon my eyes blink slowly. The weight of the world realizes before I drift into a comfort of darkness.
I rise quickly to the sound of screams. What's going on? I look at the lit up numbers next to me 2:45 a.m. My mothers screams echo through the house before silence hits.
My door swings open. My father appears panting tears threatening to escape his black eyes. They're at the blackest I've ever seen. He grabs my arm, staring directly into my soul. That comfort I had six hours ago has vanished entirely. My body aches. My mind wonders. Where is mom?
"Dad?" I ask lightly as he grabs my arms and yanks me from my bed.
"We have to go."
Tears start spilling.
"Go? Go where?" He doesn't answer instead he yanks me even harder as we head for the stairs.
My mind keeps going back to my mothers screams. My heart aches. What happened? We get into the car and within minutes we appear at a warehouse. A very run down and dark warehouse. Cars are surrounding it making me heart beat even faster.
Am I dreaming?
"Dad where are we?"
Again I get no response. My mind wanders even farther. Tearing a hole into my skull.
"What do you have on it?" He's asks a guy sitting at the desk. I've only seen him maybe once or twice before so I have no recollection of his name. He groans in response.
"Daddy you're scaring me." I break down into tears.
"Would you shut the fuck up and let me think!" He screams. More tears spill. I want mom.
Within minutes he grabs my hand again. Pulling me to another room. The walls are plastered with guns and vests of some sort. It takes him a decent amount of time to get everything he needs. Needs? For what?
My minds a fog.
"I'm not getting in your car until you tell me what's going on!" I scream. I hate being clueless.
"Bailey you don't know what's going on for a reason. You will do as I say!" He screams back.
"No I won't! Where is mom!" And just like that my face stings from the slap I receive. My hand goes to my cheek. Tears pour harder and faster now. I quickly retract my hand from his grip. Turning on my heels I'm ready to sprint off into the darkness.
"Bailey, please. Your mothers in trouble we have to go." This time his voice is calmer. More collected then a minute ago. I turn to face him.
What?
I do as I'm told and quickly strap my seat belt.
We start driving. Driving faster than ever. There's a little red blinking dot on the screen.
Why me? Is my mother okay? I pray to god she is. I look carelessly out the window. My mom being the only thing on my mind.
Who has her? Is she in that much danger. A ringing makes me jump with fear. The thought of my mother being hurt is seriously getting to me.
"What the fuck have you done to her."
I hear a loud laugh but after that I can't hear anything from the other end.
"When I find you Rodriguez I will fucking kill you. Do you understand? I will shoot you fucking dead."
My eyes widen at my fathers vulgar language. Mom..
I stare at him the entire time he talks. Getting angrier and louder every minute that goes by. He slams his fist up against the steering wheel. His foot hit the petal harder and when I look we're doing 120 on the interstate. More tears release at the thought of me dying in this car.
After a long hour we finally arrive at the red dot on the gps. The house is old. Most certainly abandoned. The most likely once brown wood is now a grayish color.
"Stay in the car do not get out for anything." He whispers before getting out and locking the car.
Great now I'm all alone.
Five minutes.
Ten minutes.
Fifteen minutes go by.
I decide to not listen to my dad. I unlock my door. Slowly and quietly I shut it as I get out. I duck all the way to a window. It's pitch black inside. I can't hear anything. I turn and head for the door. It creaks slightly when I open it. The moon light filters into the house and glows on the floor.
I hear something. Laughing. I try to follow it. But it sound like it's coming from, below me? I start opening up doors trying to find one for the basement. I get to one in what used to be a kitchen. I open it getting a loud squeak. Light flows in the more I open it.
One by one I make my way down the stairs that threaten to give away at any moment.
BANG BANG
Now I'm running down them. I discover when my feet hit the flat ground that two men are lying face to face in front of me. Tears pour even more before I hear a cry from my father.
"Dad?" I ask lightly. "Where's mom?"
He turns quickly at me his eyes bloodshot from the amount of tears his body is processing. That's when I see it.
Not it but her.
My mother.
Eyes open mouth ajar as well.
She lies in a pool of blood. Her blood. I break down and run for her. I scream for her to wake up. To not leave me. Now after what seems like hours I look up. Up to the ceiling before falling on my knees.
"Why god? Do you not love me anymore? Why would you take her? Why?"
