Chapter 49 Wednesday: 4 days until holidays

I am so so so so sorry that I haven't updated recently! I'm still alive... Life as me has been hectic and I've been fangirling heaps so I was forced to leave Wattpad alone for a while 😪 But hopefully this chapter makes up for it!?
Jayne's POV
I know that the camping trip exists. I know that they're trying to hide it from me. I know that I'm not as close with them. But what I really don't know, is if they're laughing at me behind my back. Or even if I exist to them.
Taliah feels distant. She feels like water slipping gradually through my fingers as I leave their group. As if I once had a firm grip on her and couldn't hold on tight enough. It ticks me off that instantly Taliah leans in to the group and starts talking. I think through my choices and decide to go to the library. As I walk away, I act melodramatic and drag my feet, put my head down and kick at loose rocks on the ground.
Four days until the holidays and I probably have no friends. Except maybe Taliah. Why has this happened to me? Am I too boring? Am I too weird? I glance at a group of girls in year 7, all of them laughing and beautiful. They say to never change who you are. But they never said to not alter yourself...
Jordan's POV- I'm a girl so if your a guy reading this I'd love for you to correct me in anything I got wrong...
I feel so great to being good friends with Caspar, Liam, Jai and Josh. They are so welcoming and have awesome personalities. All I need to be is myself. Ew I sound like a girl.
I am beautiful, no matter what they say and words can't bring me down noo... WHY AM I THINKING THIS!
I must think more manly so I can be more manly.
Muscles.
Pizza.
Xbox.
Sports.
Work out.
Skate park.
Perfect hair.
Pink milk. Wait...
"Jordan!" I turn around to see Liam sauntering up to me.
"Hey."
"Whatcha getting?" I look up and down the everlasting canteen line and shrug.
"I have," I quickly count how many people are in front I me "Five people to decide."
"Hey can you get me a muffin and strawberry milk?" He doesn't wait for an answer and shoves money into my hand. Turns out pink milk is more manly than I thought...
"Yeah." I say but Liam has already disappeared.
Five people later and one smiley canteen lady, I return to my friends with Liam and I's lunch.
"Thanks!" Liam grabs his food off me and begins to eat. What a slob.
"Heard you liked someone!" I see Jai smirk as he joins us.
"I do not!" I say defensively, sitting down.
"Come on who is it?" Jai leans in still holding his impressive smirk.
Liam stops eating for a second and yells, "Get some!"
"Oh piss off Liam." I say, death glaring at him. But inside I'm laughing at how stupid my friends can be.
"Come on Jordz you couldn't lie for shit, who's the girl?" Josh smiles a creepy smile as he talks. Are my friends secretly sociopaths?
"Whatever she wouldn't like me anyway." As soon as I finish I know I've made a huge mistake.
"So there IS SOMEONE! Ha!" Jai points at me and by his expression, I can tell he's happy to make a breakthrough.
"Come on do we even know her?" Caspar finally speaks.
"Maybe..." I can feel myself blushing, but I force down the feeling. Like a 'man'.
Jai smiles and starts playing detective. "Well Logan and whoever else is taken...Unless..."
"Ew no dude. Just no."
"Nah Caspar it's all good. We wouldn't allow Jordz to do shit like that" Josh says, being The Caring One.
"Come on! Give us a hint at least!" Jai whines. He's given in with detective.
Tracy comes around the corner holding a half-eaten muffin.
"Overhead you guys talking! Has Jordzie got a wittle crush?" She reaches over Caspar to ruffle my hair.
"Fuck off!" I say in retaliation. Everyone begins laughing at our minor fight.
"It's okay there's a first for everything!" She says in a 'kind' voice as she sits. The boys laugh a little harder and Liam starts clapping.
"Whatever guys. This is my stop and politely stuff you." I smile rudely and stand up.
"GOODBYE LOVER BOY!" Liam yells as I walk away, making me roll my eyes.
"Oh piss off!" I turn around and walk backwards.
"Love you too!" Tracy adds.
"We are going to find out an tease you one way or another!" Jai calls out to me.
"Great!" I mutter to myself. Just great. It's bad that they're accusing me, but it's worse that it's true.
