The cat squirmed a bit in Jeno's grip, but he kept a hold of the poor kitty and tried to comfort it as best as he could.

Mark was right, he should open up to the younger in the same way he opened up to him. But the thing was, Jaemin had such a beautiful and lively power, something that creates life that is precious and delicate, and Jeno just has the power to see dead people.

The younger would probably freak out when he hears about it.

"So, you're sure you like this boy?"

Jaemin ate his freshly made waffles with a content smile on his face, loving the taste and texture of the fluffy treat.

He just smiled and thought for a moment.

"I like him, but I'm not sure yet."

Jaehyun nodded his head while understanding his roomie's struggles.

"Don't worry, when you come to realize your feelings it'll probably be something more than 'like'," Jaehyun said and smirked as Jaemin coughed on a waffle.

"Whatever. I'm going to go out shopping today while you work at the flower shop. Do you need anything?" Jaemin asked while setting his plate in the sink, then walking over to the front door where his shoes were. He was so happy it was finally the weekend so he wasn't stuck working.

"Actually, yes."

The older stood up and walked to Jaemin while grabbing a pen and paper. He began to scribble on it as the younger just deadpanned, thinking it was some long grocery list.

He handed the paper over to Jaemin and explained what it was. "This is the type of food my fish eats. I'm almost out and I can't let my poor Finny starve."

Jaemin just gave his roomie a nod and went out the door, not forgetting to wave goodbye.

Honestly, he was just glad that a huge mall was only 15 minutes by walk, and literally had everything in it. It even had a pet store inside, which you don't see very often but it made it much more convenient for the younger.

The mall came into view and Jaemin entered it with a giddiness he couldn't contain. He doesn't usually go out shopping too much, so when he does he's pretty hyped.

He decided to stop at the pet store first, deciding that he should get the chore over and done with before he goes on the hunt for any merch he can get his hands on. His two main targets usually consisted of Albums Emporium and Hot T*pic.

They should really get more anime and Kpop merch stores because seriously, let a fanboy be a fanboy.

So he began his journey to the second floor where the lair of the pets lies in the very corner of the mall, waiting for people to come in its radius and grip their attention by releasing calls of pitiful meows and barks, even some tweets called out for an owner.

But the light haired boy had to resist all these calls once he got inside, knowing his only goal was to find this specific fish food for his roommate's pet fish.

He walked into the isle of food, seeing someone out of the corner of his eye but not looking up to them. I mean, it'd be awkward if he accidentally made eye contact with a stranger or something.

The list was crumpled from his pocket but thankfully the writing was still legible.

Jaemin's eyes scanned the rows of cans and shakers, but the name wasn't popping up anywhere.

He was about to ask someone for help, but a loud crashing sound came from behind him and almost startled the daylights out of him.

He turned around violently only to see a familiar looking boy, and a pile of cat food cans now scattered all over the floor.
