Jeanylice .

After Chris ditched the car, we walked up to the house and I was reluctant to go inside. Once he realized I wasn't following behind him, he stopped.

"Oh come on shawty, please don't tell me you scared."

"Sort of..."

He grabbed my arm and practically dragged me inside where it was dark and cold. He flipped on the lights, "see? Nobody here."

"This place still has electricity?"

"I have my ways."

Everything was exactly the way we left it- the furniture, the TV's, even the food was still in the refrigerator.

"Are you still scared?" He questioned.

"No, actually I'm not." I smiled.

"Good."

A Few Days Later .

I opened up the laptop Chris had stolen for me the other day, I hope they don't track this shit down.

"Hey Jeany, can we go out tonight?" He asked as he sat down next to me on the couch.

"Um, what do you have in mind?"

"There's this place called Main Event, I used to go there all the time when I was alive."

When i was alive..

I didn't like the sound of that, it sent chills down my spine- I keep forgetting the boy I'm in love with is dead. "What is it?"

"It's an arcade, bowling, laser tag- all that good stuff."

"And you wanna go... Tonight?"

He nodded his head. "Yes, I know it sounds crazy."

"With what money?"

He pulled out a wad of cash from underneath the couch cushion and waved it in my face. "Racks for days." He laughed.

"You a damn criminal."

"I'll do whatever it takes to keep you from starving. But is that a yes, or nah?"

"Don't you think Ms. Williams is looking for me right now?"

"Oh no, I handled her ass."

"Ugh Chris what did you do now?"

"Don't worry about all that," he chuckled, "just answer the question."

I hesitated for a moment or two, but I came to my decision. "Fine, we can go."

"Okay but you gon' have to take the bus cause I ain't about to steal another car." He laughed.

"You mean we, are gonna take the bus."

"I'm apart of you."

"You're so cheesy I swear but it's so cute." I said as I kissed him on the lips.

-

Chris was reaking havoc on the bus, this is why I don't like going out in public with him- even if nobody can see him.

"The devil is real!" One lady yelled.

"Bitch shut up." Chris chucked an empty coffee cup at her face, it was the funniest shit ever.

"You need to stop." I whispered.

"You shut up too." He pulled my hood over my head and continued causing chaos.

Finally, we arrived at Main Event. "You better not start no shit in here Christopher, i'll take a pair of ghostly scissors and cut your ghostly pepe off- play with me if you want to."

I payed for two game cards, the nigga was lookin' at me like I was crazy but I shrugged it off. People were giving me all types of weird looks at each arcade game I went to. I would be at one and Chris would be at the one next to me. I mean I guess I could understand, the game would be playing by itself.

The last game we went to was the Mario Go Karts but they were all full so we decided to wait. The white guy in front of me kept glancing back at me with an uneasy look. The last glance he gave me was when he caught me talking to Chris.

"Witch!" The guy yelled, "she's a witch!"

Everyone stared at me, and to say I was embarrassed would be an understatement.

"I'm 2.5 seconds away from bashin' this nigga head in one of these games." Chris said.

Suddenly, the white guy caught me off guard and pushed me. "Leave! Witches are not welcomed here!"

"Hell no." Chris grabbed the guy by his neck and threw him into a group of people, he didn't stop punching and kicking until he saw blood.

"Come on! We gotta go!" He grabbed my arm and we ran out of the building, just in time to catch the next bus. "Well..." He said out of breath, "besides that, did you have a good time?"

"Yeah..." I whispered, "thanks."

"You don't ever have to thank me shawty, that's my job- to love and protect you."

What would I do without Chris?
