It was a new day at school, everyone was changing into their hero costumes when Midoriya glanced over at Todoroki just as he adjusted his shirt to his costume. Nothing...
"Midoriya!" The freckled boy snapped out of his thoughts as he turned to face Iida who had been having trouble adjusting his own costume. "Finally, you haven't been answering me. I was beginning to get worried. Are you feeling well?"
"Y-Yeah! Sorry about that. What's up?"
"Could you help me with this?" Iida had gestured to his costume and Midoriya happily agreed, turning away and missing the scars along Todoroki's wrist.
...
They were sparing with each other. Both Midoriya and Todoroki had been pared up together as everyone else worked on something else to improve their quirks.
Midoriya had landed a hit, causing a few pieces of the other's costume to tear. That could get fixed...
Just as he was about to land another one, his eyes landed on Todoroki's neck. There was something there.. But before he could look closer, Todoroki knocked him back with a wall of ice.
"You need to pay attention, Midoriya. Is there something on your mind?" Todoroki asked, helping the smaller boy to his feet.
"Uhm.. no... Thank you for asking though..."
