It was supposed to be a normal day, not that expected normal day, but like the one used to have after that disaster... We were supposed to have an exiting activity today but—
"YUKI-SENPAI!"

"Oi, are you listening?..." Ebisuzawa-senpai poked me with her shovel
"Right, right" I sighed and tapped her shovel away
"Be sure to do your chores today" Wakasa-senpai smiled and gave me a gentle pat on my head
"(y/n)-chan~! Can I join you on your patrol?" Takeya-senpai asked me with excitement shining in her eyes
"No" I rejected
"Ehhh..." disappointment appeared on her face. I slightly chuckled at her looks and I felt her hands grabbing mine
"Look, look~! (y/n)-chan smiled! See, I told you she can smile"
"Eh?! O-of course I can smile, I'm still a human... anyway..." I stopped at my word when I mentioned 'human'
I saw Sakura-sensei looking at me with worry but I just gave her a reassuring look
"I'm off" I said while grabbing my wooden sword and took off for patrol
"Be careful" I heard them all say
While walking around, all I can feel is the coldness brushing against my skin. I got goosebumps as soon as I heard some of 'them' making their creepy sounds together with their heavy footsteps. I looked over the window and noticed the clouds are looking very gray
"Looks like its about to rain..." I mumbled
In an instant, I ducked and kicked one of 'them' down. I was really surprised and it almost caught me of guard. I ended their tragedy as soon as I can
'This may be the time to be grateful to my club...'
"How did one of 'them' managed to get here?" I asked myself, trying to come up with an answer. For safety measures, I double checked the barricades that we made
"All done" I said. I looked over the corpse I just killed and dragged it to the side
"I wonder... Can they still be considered human?... If so... then doesn't this makes us murderers?..." I can feel a slight sting on my eyes. I was expecting that a tear would fell but nothing came...
"Heh... then I guess I'm also just a heartless monster who couldn't mourn 'them'..." I bitterly smiled. As I approached the club room I saw everyone happily chatting with one another
"I'm back" I said
"Welcome bac—" Ebisuzawa-senpai instantly stood up and approached me
"Are you hurt?!" She worriedly asked
"(y/n)..." Wakasa-senpai distracts Takeya-senpai so that she couldn't see the scene. Sakura-sensei grabbed my hand gently and led me to the washroom
I looked over the blood on my skirt and snapped out of my trance
"Ah—...." I just realized that I entered the room in this messed up state
"(y/n)-chan... is something bothering you?..." she asked
I gritted my teeth and punched the walls with my fist. She looks surprised but she stood still beside me
"How... How can you all act like this?.. How come none of you are—?!" Sakura-sensei suddenly hugged me. I grabbed into her clothes, desperate for comfort and reassurance
