Pref #13: Proposal

Ian :

"Everyone get ready for the last number!", Sarah yells at everyone.

You adjust your costume, nervously bouncing on your heels.

Being allowed to perform in Smosh Live 2.0 is a huge deal for you, and it's been a blast so far.

Rehearsals and table reads seem like a distant memory as you watch Noah and Olivia finish their sketch.

"Dance number finale is on in ten!", Sarah hisses to everyone.

"You ready for this?", Shayne whispers to you.

"No.", you shake your head with a nervous smile.

You want to talk to Ian, but he is nowhere to be found.

Courtney tries to make nervous small talk while you wait for the clock to wind down.

"Go! Good luck!", Sarah bids everyone as you all take your places on stage.

All of the girls had long dresses on.

It was a sketch called "Viral Videos in the 1700's."

Olivia had joked earlier that you all looked like Disney princesses.

You had to admit, you liked your look.

"Welcome. Welcome.", Shayne greets you with an attempt at a posh voice as you enter his "house."

The sketch progresses with people throwing it back, pranks, and you get ready for the final dance number.

"I know the best way to go viral.", Ian pushes to the front of the crowd.

He looks so good in his suit and time-appropriate top hat.

"What might that be?", Courtney asks him.

You shoot Olivia a look.

This wasn't in the script.

You play along, acting interested.

Not hard to act interested when you're genuinely curious what he's doing.

"Lady (Y/N)?", Ian holds his hand out.

You take it, moving to the front of the group with him.

He takes a box out of his pocket.

Opening it, you notice a ring as he bends down on one knee.

Your mouth flies open, your hands flying up to cover your mouth.

Everyone else on stage looks equally as shocked.

"This is real?", Courtney gasps from behind you.

You can barely nod, still shocked.

By this point, the audience has caught on.

It's deathly silent.

"(Y/N), you have been by my side for almost two years now, and I couldn't be happier with you. You are my entire world, and I hope to prove to you my love by proposing to you. I love you endlessly. Will you marry me?", he asks.

Everyone's eyes are trained on you, waiting for your response.

"Yes!", you yell, letting him slide the ring on your finger.

You wrap your arms around him, kissing in front of the crowd.

"What a way to end Smosh Live 2.0!", he whispers before kissing you again.

Matt :

You link your hand with Matt's as the two of you walk through the streets of Italy.
