Ch. Eight

Keomi walked in with a soft smile than turned to see her pops on the couch with someone. She rose a brow as she was eatting her cone,

"Pops, I'm home." She states and walks over.

Toshinori smiled as he looked over than Keomi gasped as she recognized the male,

"Uncle Shield!" Keomi beamed and ran over, hugging him tightly.

Dave laughed a bit and hugged her back,

"Hey, Kiddo. How are you doing?" He asked,

"Ah, I'm handling myself! Made some new friends today and, haha, got into a bit of a scruff-"

"Wait, what?!" Toshinori exclaimed quietly, entering papa bear mode.

Keomi sighed,

"Relax, it's a scratch. I'm fine, Pops." She reassured and gently patted his head.

Toshinori chuckled a bit at the headpats and shakes his head,

"Well stop doing that, I don't want to see you hurt, Kiddo." He states,

"Pops, if I'm going to be a pro hero I'm gonna get hurt! But, I know I'll be okay because I got you and uncle Shield!" She beamed.

Dave snickered,

"Man, you sound a lot like your father back when he was a starting pro hero. He always said as long as everyone else was okay, he would be alright." He recalls.

Toshinori snickered and shrugged his shoulders,

"What can I say besides: Like father like daughter!" He beamed proudly.

Keomi laughed a bit at this than saw Melissa, she smiled and ran over to her,

"Meeeel!!" She beamed, going and hugging the older female.

Melissa chuckled and hugged the shorter female back,

"Hey, Koi Fish. We got you a present for you." She states which made the smaller female have stars in her eyes,

"Really?! Awesome! Can I see it?!" She exclaimed quietly and bounced a bit.

Melissa snickered than looked to the adults who nodded, she went off and grabbed a box and handed it to the female,

"Hope you like it." She states.

Keomi took the box and opened it, her eyes widening as she saw the golden costume, she took it out and looked it over,

"No way! It's my hero costume design!" She beamed.

Melissa snickered and nodded,

"Yeah, your pops snuck us the sketch you made and my dad and I made the costume." She states,

"The glasses hide your cat eyes so that way they opponent doesn't know you're using your quirk, and your costume can cammo itself if you click the button on the side of your glasses. You costume also adjusts to you no matter what your quirk is." Melissa explained.

Keomi smiled brightly at this and hugged her older cousin,

"Thanks, Mel! This is amazing!" She beamed, going to her uncle and pops and hugging them,

"And thank you two for making it a reality!" She beamed, both hugging her back,

"No problem, Kiddo." They both said.

Zen sighed softly as he walked in, glaring over at Takehiko as he wore a giant smirk on his face,

"I suggest seeing your father, I told him what happened today." He states.

Zen death glared the male but rolled his eyes,

"Whatever." He grumbled, making his way to his father's office.

He knocked on the door, hearing a 'come in' he walked in to see his father with a few other members of the leauge. Zen closed the door behind him and made his way to his father,

"Hello, father." He says monotonously.

The male hummed,

"Zen, I was informed you had a... conflict with Shigaraki and Dabi's child." He states.

Zen sighed and nodded,

"Yes sir, I did."

"You were protecting this... girl." His father said and hummed,

"Why were you doing so, Son?" He asked.

Zen went to talk but stopped as Shigaraki cackled,

"Ah, I'm sure he was just helping out his father!~ You know how loyal Zenaku is to you, sir!~" Shigaraki states in his usual playful tone.

Zen didn't mind Shigaraki, he seemed to always stick up for him though which surprised him but he appreciated it. Zen nodded,

"Yes, the girl seems to be of interest to you and Shigaraki, sir." He states.

"Oh, and how would she be of interest to us, Zen?!~" Shigaraki chirped and got closer to the male.

Zen pushed his glasses up a bit and sighed a bit,

"She's a child of All Might. I know he isn't a pro hero anymore but I know you both still want him dead so... she could be used in many ways to help you both get rid of him once and for all." He states.

Shigaraki could be heard cackling, many can assume that he was smirking,

"Oh?! Is that so?! I was unaware that the Symbol of Peace had an offspring!" He exclaimed.

"As was I, thank you for sharing that information with us, Zen. What's her name?" His father asked.

Zen thought, he... didn't want them hurting Keomi. He didn't understand why he doesn't as seeing her father put his father behind bars and kept them apart for a while but... there's something about her that she wasn't telling and she was this great mystery that he needed to solve before he told his father. He sighed softly,

"I have yet to get that information, I was zoning off but I heard the last name and it was Yagi. I'll proceed to get information on her and I'll report to you when I gather more information." He states.

"Not to me, to either Shigaraki or Kurogiri, remember: we want them thinking I'm still gone. I can't make an appearance unless it's absolutely necessary." He states.

Kurogiri hummed,

"Also, please tell us when any major field trips or anything for that matter is coming. We can plan ahead and come up with battle tatics." He states.

Zen nodded,

"Of course, but know if you come, I will have to fight along side the hero's to show them I'm a good guy. Know it's nothing personal." He states.

His father nodded,

"Of course, you're dismissed, Zenaku." He states.

Zen nodded and turned, opening the door, he knew his father wanted to be addressed by his proper name,

"Yes, All For One." He states quietly, closing the door behind him and leaving his family alone.
