After a little bit of sitting there Rowan picked me up and put me in the living room.
"Wait here for a little bit buddy. I'm gonna go grab you some toys okay?" He explained, setting me down on the floor in front of the tv.
I nodded and sat there with my stuffy. I set him on the leg of the coffee table and sat there with my legs crossed.
He had a rug that was baby blue and had a floral design. It matched the white carpet and brown walls. I really liked Rowan's house. I could tell he put effort into it to make it look nice.
After a few minutes he came back carrying a basket of toys. He set them on the ground in front of me as he turned on the tv and sat on the couch.
I looked in the toy box and saw calico critters, dolls, action figures, a mini game toy controller, and an etch a sketch.
I immediately grabbed the calico critters. I loved playing with them! They are my favorite toy in the whole world!
I grabbed the set with a crib, dresser, and mini toys for the bunny character. I also grabbed the mommy bunny to take care of the other one.
I gently played with the toys for a long time, moving the characters around and having the mommy take care of the baby. After awhile I notice Rowan staring at me. I continued on playing cause I was having too much fun.
After a little bit I grabbed another set for outdoors, it had a soccer net, two mini balls, a basketball hoop, and toy roller skates to put on the characters.
I played with the bunny and made her play basketball and soccer and roller skate. I was having so much fun! I love playing with calico critters!
After a bit da- I mean Rowan picked me up and sat me on the couch with him.
"Baby boy I gotta ask you something," he spoke, placing his hands on my shoulders.
I tilted my head and stared at him.
"Do you wanna go on a date with me? Get to know each other better?"
I nodded, "When will we go?"
"Tomorrow at 5?"
"Sure!"
I cuddled into him, wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. I was so excited to go out on a date with him! I really wanted to have us end up being together one day.
I knew if he was my daddy he'd be the perfect one in the whole world! I am so excited to go on a date with him. I'll have to pick out a super cute outfit to go in!
I couldn't stop smiling as he cradled me in his chest. I could tell he was smiling too. This moment was so perfect.
"I'll be right back little one, I'm gonna go use the bathroom." He said, getting up and walking off.
I nodded and sat on the couch. I pulled my phone out and texted Lorelei and Tom in our group chat that I had a date tomorrow.
🐻Lorey Bear🐻 Oh my god you have a date? Who's the guy? Is he hot?
I didn't respond to the text. I decided to let her wait in anxiousness until we decided to get together or not. I'm evil, I know.
Rowan came back and sat down next to me, looking at my phone.
"Who ya textin?" He asked, setting his head on my shoulder
"My friend Lorelei and Tom." I replied, putting my phone away.
He nodded and got upend went into the kitchen. He came back with water in a glass and a sippy cup.
"It's chocolate milk. I just remembered I had some for ya." He told me, handing me the sippy cup.
I giggled and nodded, putting the sippy up to my lips. He made is super chocolatey, just the way I like it!
He turned on the TV and we watched Octonauts for a little bit. We sat through 2 episodes before he grabbed me and cradled me into his chest. Everything was peaceful until my phone rang.
I got up and picked up the phone and Lorelei started talking, "Hey bud wanna go hang out at the skate park at 5?"
"Uh sure. See ya then!" I answered, as she hung up.
"Where ya going?" Rowan asked, cradling me into him again.
"Just to the skate park with my friend. I rollerskate a lot." I answered, sighing as I laid my head on his chest.
"Can I go with? Sounds like fun and I'd love to see you rollerskate," He asked.
"Sure! Maybe I can teach you to!" I giggled, lifting my head up to smile at him.
He kissed me. He brought his face up to mine and kissed me. It was slow and romantic. I loved every second of it.
"Sorry baby boy. Couldn't resist," He laughed, laying me back down on his chest.
I sat there for a few moments speechless. I just had my first kiss. My first kiss! I'm not a loser anymore!
I had butterflies in my stomach and my head was racing with thoughts. Does this mean he likes me? Is he going to be my daddy? Does he like LIKE me?
"T-that was my first kiss..." I spoke, snuggling my head deeper into him.
"I'm honored to have taken it baby." Rowan beamed, playing with my hair.
It was so calming to lay there while he pulled his fingers through my hair. This man was perfect. He made all my bad thoughts go away in an instant. I even felt like eating again around him. I wanted to make him proud of me.
I think I'm going to try and start recovering.
"Rowan- I'm hungry..." I picked up my head and smiled at him.
His smile that responded was worth more then gold itself.
