"Lucia, do not go to the silent forest, there's a scary castle there"
For a thousand times my grandmother warned me about the abandon castle near the silent forest.
"She makes me want to go and take a look if she keep warning me like that" I murmured while start walking to the other direction but take a glance to where the Silent forest.
My grandmother is a British, she's living in the small town near the Dingle, and honestly I don't know where it is exactly.
Lucia...
Gasped, I turn around and see no one.
Who?
My name is Lucia Windham, I am 7 years old and this is the first time I visit my grandmother with my mom. The truth is, I know the reason my mother take me here, looks like my parents will going on separate ways since my father had a new woman in his office, his secretary, typical.
I know for a young girl in my age, I shouldn't have known something like that but like my mother said, I am older than the other girl.
People call me genius, but it left me with no friends beside books.
No matter, with books I can go anywhere and be anyone I like so I don't need friends. Lie.
Sighed, I pick the dried branch before take a seat in the sand.
You see, Dingle in near to the sea so beside hills, we can see the big blue see from my grandmother's house.
If only our neighbor is near.
How can my grandmother living alone here, in the middle of nowhere by herself?
Since my grandfather die, she rejects the idea of moving out to America with us.
Thank God, I brought one of my books here, I thought before lean on the sand and start reading.
It's only a minute before I heard an agony screaming from behind me.
Quickly, I stood up and take a look around until I saw a man crawling from the Silent forest with blood in his clothes.
Gasped, I leave my book before running to where he lay on the ground.
"Hey.. Hey.. are you okay?" I asked breathlessly from running toward him.
He frown and staring at me for a second before coughing and I gasped loudly when blood coming out from his mouth.
"Oh my God" I whispered "I need to call someone" before I can stand up, his hands stop me and make me turn my gaze back to him.
"No.." He said and winced.
"Don't speak" I shook my head and open my jacket before wrapped it in his wounded flesh and push it to stop the bleed. "You keep bleeding" I shout panicky.
He laugh in between his cough and make me frown.
"It's not funny!!" I scowl before hear howling from the wood and make me shiver.
"What's your name?" he asked and touch my cheek softly.
Why he looks calm?
"Um.. Lusy.. Lucia" I tell him while keep pushing his bleeding flesh "You're bleeding, I need to make it stop!"
"Thank you, Lucia"
Huh?
Frown, I turn my gaze from the wound to his eyes and gasped.
That's the last thing I remember before I was consumed to the darkness.
Until then little Lucia. I'll see when you're ready.
