Epilogue

About a year ago I would never have known that I would be were I am now, in some alternate video game dimension on a thrown ruling over a bunch virtual people and…. Whoa! I have said whey to much already if you even want to make anything out of what I just told you, you’d better keep reading because I’m not saying anything else unless it’s in order. I’m not the kind of girl that is all like oh-I’m-going-to-tell-the-story-out-of-order-because-I’m-stupid. No. I’m the type of girl that tells you a story strait forward all the way through from the beginning. And this is my story.

Chapter 1

I was standing waiting for the bus. It was raining. I got completely soaked and I was wearing my new jeans and a new shirt from Hot Topic and I totally could not hand in my home work now… wow just wow…It was so starting off as a good day… NOT! Oh and then it just gets better and better! I see my crush since like forever, and he comes to the same bus stop and… burst out laughing.

He calls to his new buddy, some one I haven’t seen before. He must be a new kid I thought. But why is the coolest guy in school hanging out with the new kid? The rather cute new kid. The rather hot new kid. Who was looking right at me like I was the person he was looking for all his life. How was I supposed to know that that was exactly what I was. I tried to act casual and said “ So looks like took a dip in the pool what’s up with you guys?” the new kid laughed ,Luke, which is my crush’s, or now due to the hot new kid, my old crush, just sneered and said “Marshal come on lets leave this loser alone.”

So the new kids name is Marshal? Wow. The name totally suits his shaggy black hair, shining gold eyes, tall torso, oh! So cute! And when he smiled you could see his semi-sharp teeth like mine. It is really hard to find some one with my sharp teeth, and he laughed at my joke and not the fact that I was drenched. Then he said “Come on Luke we can stay here. At least she doesn’t smell.” Then he looked at me with a playful smile “She just had a bath didn’t she?” I couldn’t help laughing at this and I guess Marshal couldn’t either because he broke out in that adorable laugh that I have so suddenly learned to love. Luke looked absolutely disgusted and said “Dude I though you were cool, wow was I wrong! Bye losers!” And he walked away.

Marshal looked satisfied with himself. He turned to me and said “So were you been Eva?” then he realized, I guess, that he said my name before I told it to him and said “Um, Luke told me your name as we walked up here.” “Oh. That explains it I guess.” I said with a shrug trying not to squeal ‘OMG!! He knows my name!!!’ then, thankfully the bus came and well let’s just say my day did get better from there. Marshal sat with me on the bus and none of the guys looked at me like I was an alien that came to steal the teddy bears they probably slept with at night. Girls looked at me approvingly but not jealously which would have been bad.

Then we got to school. My day took a huge leap from OK to OMG what is with every one here acting like they approve of me for once! As the day went on I found that Marshal’s schedule was the exact same as mine. I mean every-single- class! Now don’t get me wrong I am so not the type to be all oh-my-God-he-is-in-all-my-classes! SQUEE!  Um. Yea. No. But I did invite him to sit with me and my friends during lunch. OK, that’s only a little bit of a lie because well Stacy had made it her job to make sure I had no BFFs, no just friends, and definitely no boy-friend. But, she left me alone today which is weird because she never, EVER, leaves me alone. All she did was look my way and say “Hi Eva! ‘morning!” in a happy voice and wave. So I had a fun lunch.

Then we went to English class. Worst part of my day. Even if Marshal was there. And all because Marabell was in that class. You see we have to act like we hate each other when in reality we’re practically best friends. But her friends don’t like me, and I don’t like them. When Marshal saw her he practically materialized over to her. Well at least then I thought he had just ran but, even after I told my self he had ran I couldn’t help but think “that’s not true and some how I know it”. Because he had definitely been standing right next to me one second and the next he was standing by Marabell.  He was talking to her very fast and at the end he said something in some sort of weird accent that sounded like “Can you understand this?” I walked over in time to here Marabell say “Yes?” in the same accent and look surprised at it. When I was about to say something like “Sup Mell?” like I usually call her ,and she acts like she hates it but really doesn’t mind, Marshal interrupted saying “Can you understand this?” in that weird accent again I said “Sure.” And was surprised to hear that I to had answered in the same accent. Then he said good in his normal voice and said in a barely audible whisper “I’ve found them. I’ve finally found them.”  And sat in a seat right next to Marabell with me right in front of him.

He kept looking out the window after a while and he looked really surprised at first. Then he started to look really agitated. Finally he stood up and said that he just remembered he was supposed to take me and Marabell to the office. He grabbed our arms and headed out the door but instead of heading to the office he led us outside. Marabell almost had a cow when we were out side! She hated breaking the rules. But she stopped freaking out when she saw what we were heading for, a girl that was completely purple. Like skin, hair, everything was purple! She looked angry until she saw us then she almost turned into a plum she was so exited. She said in that weird accent “OMG!! You found them?? FINALLY! Where were they?” then she looked at us “Were have you been? Your parents have been looking for 8 years!” Ok. Now it was my turn to sound mad “What are you talking about? I left my house this morning!”  Marabell looked just as confused and said “Explain to me what is going on please?”  the purple girl told us there was no time right now and that we needed to meet the fosters at the park. Um. Ok? We walked to the park with Mell jittering like a beetle about having to leave school. I was fine with it, but when your practically a video game playing gothic chic you don’t really care. But had I known what kind of journey I would have to go on I might have been scared or even terrified. And I didn’t know that that was the last time I would EVER see my school again.              End of chapter 1
