The girls had decided to wait for Daan, Jill and Vivianne to shower and change before they all went out for their meal.

"Wow, Daan. Who are you trying to impress?" Leah said, walking into Daan's bedroom with a pair of high heels in her hand.

"Nobody?" Daan said, turning to face her.

"Beth?"

"I met her like an hour ago."

"I saw you looking at her, I used to look at Jordan the exact same way."

"..." Daan stares at Leah for a moment.

"That's completely different."

"It's not different at all."

"You like her."

"She's pretty."

"Pathetic." Leah scoffed.

"Fine, she's cute."

"My gran says I'm cute. That is also pathetic." Leah said, folding her arms.

"LEAH! DAAN! BETH! ARE YOU READY TO GO??" Emma shouted from the bottom of the stairs.

"We're coming!"

"Aye hen, so is fucking Christmas!"

Leah rolled her eyes.

"Let's go before Mitch kills us all."

Daan nodded and headed down the stairs, they were met by Beth, who Daan stared at probably longer than she should have because Jordan and Leah both had to cough to get her attention again.

Jordan and Leah weren't the only ones who noticed Daan staring at Beth. Beth had noticed too because she got up off the chair and looked away quickly before walking out, feeling slightly nervous all of a sudden.

"Alright, lets go." Kim finally said, breaking the awkward silence that had begun to loom.

"You look a bit flustered there Daan."

"I will hurt you, Mitch." Daan muttered, following Kim out the door.

Daan felt like they'd been in this bar for hours, but she knew it could've have been longer than an hour. Having said that, you'd have though they'd been here for hours because everyone seemed to be drinking as though someone was going to take all the alcohol in the world away from them.
