Beth never thought she would leave Sunderland. But she knew if she wanted to make her mark on the England set-up she would have to aspire to be bigger and better.

When she got the opportunity to sign for Arsenal there was no way she could pass it up, even before talking to her international teammate Leah Williamson and ex-Sunderland player Jordan Nobbs, Beth knew that she wasn't going to turn the deal down.

She pulled up outside Leah's house and before she could even get out the car, Leah and Jordan were already standing outside ready to greet her. She opened the door and got out of the car.

"Welcome....to our humble abode! Most of the girls are all inside, they can't wait to officially meet you." Leah said, pulling her friend into a hug.

Beth grinned and hugged Leah back before pulling away and hugging Jordan.

"Sup, kid." Jordan nodded and Beth raised an eyebrow.

"You're still the kid, Mead. Deal with it. I'll get your stuff." Jordan said as she walked towards the car, getting Beth's stuff out of the boot.

"Let's not keep them waiting, I think Mitch has got ants in her pants."

Beth followed Leah and Jordan into the house, Jordan leaving them in the hallway to take Beth's belongings upstairs to her room.

Beth and Leah walked into the living room where the whole team sat, obviously waiting for her arrival.

Beth turned to Leah, and folded her arms. "Leah I thought you said this was your house?"

"It is my house?"

"Does your mum visit often? It's very tidy."

"It's only tidy because it's only been me and Jordan here for the past few weeks. You'll see why later." Leah laughed a bit, patting her on the back.

Beth nodded, and shrugged a little turning back to the girls.

"Anyways," Leah continued on as she introduced Beth to all the players. "And finally last but not least, our captain and 'the sensible one', Kim."

Beth smiled at Kim and the captain nodded at her. "I've heard a lot about you from Leah."

"All good I hope." Beth said, nervously glanced at Leah who just grinned and waved at her.

"Ah!!!" Lisa stood up instantly, giving Emma the fright of her life.

"The fuck, Lisa?"

"What? Viv's almost home!!"

"It's only Viv.. you saw her last week!" Emma muttered.

"You don't know what it's like to be away from the person you love because you are a —"

"Lisa!"

"Yes, Kimmy?"

"Be nice."

"Well I'm here for a mad yin' no a sad yin'." Emma said as she stood up, Lisa and Kim both laughing.

Meanwhile, Daniëlle, Vivianne and Jill were dragging their Leeuwinnen suitcases through Heathrow airport, having just got back from an international camp with the Netherlands.

All three girls were bouncing off the walls, excited to get back home to see their club teammates and the new addition, who Vivianne informed the two girls had just arrived at Leah and Jordan's house.

"What's her name again?" Daan asked, tilting her head as they got into their transport.

"Beth." Vivianne said.

"Beff. That's a nice name."

Jill shook her head. "No, dummy. It's Beth."

"Beff. That's what I said." She said once again, jumping up and down in front of Jill.

Jill sighed, knowing that she probably wouldn't be able to convince Daan otherwise.

The girls where in deep conversation all the way back to Leah's, which made the journey seem much quicker than it actually had been.

Viv jumped out the car first and ran into the house, jumping straight on top of Lisa without hesitation. Emma jumped up again and grumbled something about them being 'completely inappropriate' and that there were 'kids present'.

Beth laughed as did the other girls when Daan and Jill came into the room carrying all their bags with them.

"Bedankt, Vivianne!" Daan shouted.

Vivianne shook her hand at her, with a smile. "Graag gedaan!"

Daan and Jill rolled there eyes and Daan walked over to Beth.

"Hi! You must be Beff. I'm Daniëlle, but you can call me Daan...if you want." She said, grinning broadly.

"It's nice to meet you, Daan." She nodded and laughed a little.

"Daan her name is—"

"I already told her, her name was Beth, Kimmy! But she wouldn't listen!" Jill shouted, and Kim also rolled her eyes.

"Now we are all equated...who fancies going out for food and then a night out?" Leah suggested.
