I have been a wattpad reader since the beginning of 2012. This was the time when After was still posting, and Wattpad had little to no recognition at the time to have ads or pushing wattpad authors to have their books published.

But now wattpad is a popular reading app right up there with kindle, and having multiple apps try and accomplish what they have.

If you clicked this, I'm guessing you have the same debate I had before I made the purchase, but I reached my limit with viewing ads between chapters.  It came to the point there were ads in between my own stories that really hit a nerve.

I understand why they are doing. It's the same reason why other sites like Facebook and Youtube are turning to a haven for ads.

This is how you buy the books participating in the paid section of wattpad, and I had a few lined up that I was waiting to return back to being free, but let's face it.
It's probably not going to happen.

But why should it? These writers deserve some money as well. They've worked hard to produce a story. So even though I was upset in the beginning that all of a sudden, the best books started to have a pay to read program, it is beginning to work itself out.

No ad interruptions and the ability to get cheaper deals.

If any of you have played club penguin you could understand this:

As a non-member, you had little access around the island. You couldn't buy the clothes of the season except for the ones that were designed for non-members. Or where some parties you couldn't go into the VIP room.
It came to the point where some games weren't accessible either.

That is what Wattpad is doing, paying means you are giving money to people who deserve it.

After having the premium status for a few days, it's allowed me to read for longer without having the interruption and idea of stopping. As well as wanting to read more often, my library has wracked up with new books as I'm flying through others.

Mind you it's summer, and I have a full semester of classes that are coming up and reading leisurely is most likely not going to happen. So I probably won't repurchase it until winter break and the summer once again.

It's honestly up to you, if you use wattpad a lot then it would be worth the price.
