Jasmine's POV

"Jessie! Guess who's in the park!"

"Chris Boss NBA All-Star?" Jessie guesses and I raised my eyebrow at her.

"No, Chris Boss NBA-" Luke pauses when he realizes she was correct. "Wait, how did you know?"

How can you miss him?

"He's seven feet tall and standing right over there." I point to Chris who was signing an autograph. "You can't miss him."

"It's either him or a really well-dressed tree," Jessie adds.

"The Heat are in town to play the Nicks." Luke begins. "I hate the Heat, they think they're so good just because they won the Championship."

"Well, JJ and I happen to know Chris, but I guess you don't want one of us to introduce you such you hate the Heat," Jessie tells Luke and I stand up from the bench.

"We do?" I ask and she nods.

"You were really young."

"Oh! Oh! I wanna meet Chris! Please! Please! Please!" Luke begs Jessie and the other kids stood up with excitement.

"Alright. Come on." Jessie chuckles and leads us over to Chris.

I don't remember meeting Chris. Why must all the cool things happen when I'm young and don't remember anything?

We approach Chris when he finishes his autograph for a kid and Jessie pats his back.

"So Chris, how the heck are ya? It's been a while." She greets with a smile.

"Do I know you?" He asks and I snicker.

"Well, this isn't awkward at all," Emma mentions.

"Jessie Prescott. When you went to Lincoln High in Dalla your team played our hometown school." Jessie reminds him and I suddenly remember that. "Remember..."

"Oh, I remember that!" I beam. "And Jessie did that obnoxious cheer that made my ears bleed."

"Hey." Jessie gawks at me and I smile at her. "But, maybe that will help. Bosh Bosh! Oh My Gosh! Our teams gonna kick your Tosh!"

"Oh, that was you?" Chris asks her and Jessie smiles. "She's right, that was the worst chant ever."

"Ha!" I laugh

"And what is a Tosh?" He asks her.

"Well, I meant Tush, but it's hard to find words that rhyme with Tosh," Jessie remarks.

"How about Squash?"

"I was nine." Jessie retorts and I chuckle.

"I was four and I could've come up with better words that rhyme." I comment.

Jessie rolls her eyes before coming up to the five of us. "These little Know-it-Alls are Luke, Emma, Ravi, and Zuri." She points to the Ross Kids and then she points at me. "And you probably remember my sister, Jasmine."

I wave at Chris. "I was four when you heard Jessie do that stupid chant."

"Yeah, I remember you." He says. "You were very sassy for a four-year-old."

"And I still am, but I got taller. Sort of." I shrug and Luke rests his arm on my head.

"I would say taller is a lie." Luke jokes and I elbow him, causing him to chuckle and remove his arm.
