Nicolás: Have you talked to Johnny today?

Ariel: No.

Ariel: Why?

Nicolás: There's something wrong with him.

Ariel: What do you mean?

Ariel: Is he sick?

Nicolás: I don't know.

Ariel: 🤷‍♀️

Nicolás: I ran into him before biology.

Nicolás: He looked really pale.

Nicolás: His eyes were all sunken in too.

Ariel: Maybe he has the flu or something?

Nicolás: Here's the weird thing, I asked him if he was okay and he legit walked straight past me.

Nicolás: It was like he didn't even hear me!

Ariel: That is weird.

Nicolás: So weird.

Ariel: Hang on, I'm going to call him.

[Ariel calls Johnny.

[The other line picks up, but no one says anything.

[Ariel says Johnny's name several times, but all she hears in response is heavy breathing.

Ariel: Okay...

Ariel: That was really strange!

Nicolás: What?

Ariel: Johnny or someone picked up.

Nicolás: That's a good thing, right?

Ariel: No one said anything...

Ariel: They were just panting...

Nicolás: Panting?

Ariel: Yeah, like heavy breathing.

Nicolás: Yikes.

Ariel: No kidding!

Nicolás: Think we should head over to his dorm?

Nicolás: We might need to take him to the doctor.

Ariel: Yeah.

Ariel: He could be delirious.

Ariel: Maybe that would explain the panting?

Nicolás: Maybe.

Ariel: Heading over to your place now.

Nicolás: Sounds good!

Ariel: Hang on...

[Ariel looks at her last text message to Johnny.

[The three dots are flashing, indicating that he's writing her back.

Ariel: He's texting me.

Nicolás: 👍

Ariel: Nic...

Ariel: That was the resident assistant in Johnny's dorm.

Nicolás: Damon?

Ariel: Yes.

Nicolás: Why is he texting you from Johnny's phone?

Ariel: I guess he saw my last texts to Johnny.

Ariel: Checking in and asking what was going on.

Ariel: Anyways, he said there's been an accident.
