Three weeks later

Lena had spent the last three weeks at LCorp. She hadn't been home to see Kara or even called her. She just needed some space for a while to calm down and then got so caught up in her work that she'd actually forgotten to go home and relax.

Kara has called her multiple times but Lena hasn't had time to answer the calls.

Pushing her fingers through her hair, Lena sighed as she looked at the iPad in her hand. She was trying to finish her work. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other, feeling slightly uneasy. She felt something rising in the back of her throat.

Swallowing, Lena sat the iPad down on her desk and made her way to the restroom. She dropped down onto her knees just as the contents of her stomach came up. Lena coughed and gagged.

Eve appeared in the restroom behind Lena. "Miss Luthor, are you alright?" She asked.

Lena coughed and wiped her mouth. She sat back and leaned against the stall wall. "I'm fine." She whispered.

"Do you want me to call someone?" Eve asked.

Lena shook her head, her eyes closed. "No. Just go back to work."

Eve left the room.

Lena sighed. She was confused as to why she was sick. Her hand slowly travelled down to her stomach and she opened her eyes, realization hitting her like a bus.

Getting up, Lena made her way to the sink. She washed her hands and mouth. She looked at herself in the mirror, sighing, before leaving the bathroom.

"Eve, take the rest of the day off. I'm going home." Lena said. She only now realised how tired she was.

"Okay." Eve said.

Collecting her belongings, Lena made her way to the exit.

When Lena arrived at the apartment, she stood outside the front door for a long moment before reaching for the handle. She opened the door and entered quietly.

Slipping off her shoes, Lena put her bag down on the floor and keys on the table. She ran her fingers through her hair and turned.

"Lena! Where the hell have you been?!" Kara asked. She was concerned and worried. She began ranting about how worried she had been and if something bad had happened, she wouldn't have known what to do.

"Kara." Lena said calmly.

Kara continues to rant.

"Kara." Lena said louder.

Kara's rant continued.

"Kara." Lena yelled.

Kara stopped ranting. "What?"

"I'm fine." Lena said, she took a deep breath. "It worked."

"What worked?" Kara asked, stepping closer to Lena.

"Cisco and Caitlin's vials. They worked." Lena said. Her hands travelled to her stomach.

A wide smile crossed Kara's face and she wrapped her arms around Lena. She lifted her up and spun her around before putting her down. Kara gentle placed her hands on top of Lena's. She leaned in and kissed Lena gently. "We are having a baby."

Lena nodded. "We are having a baby." She whispered.

Kara smiled. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small box. She bent down on one knee. "I know I already asked you but I wanted to ask you officially." She took a deep breath and opened the box to reveal a ring.
