AFTER A SHORT WALK THROUGH THE WOODS, the three girls made their way over to Eleven and Hopper's cabin to have a little more girl time. Eleven settles herself next to Cassie, smoothing her newly purchased skirt over her knees while simultaneously shuffling through the magazines sprawled over her bed.

"You must be an angel, I can see it in your eyes...full of wonder and surprise..." Max sang with the radio.

Eleven's eyes are down, reading through each of the articles as best she could. She licks her lips like she's nervous, furrowing her eyebrows as she studied a picture of an unfamiliar boy.

Max raised her eyebrows flirtatiously, "Oh, you found Ralph Macchio."

"Macchio?" Eleven asked, clueless.

"Yeah, he's the Karate Kid!" Max exclaimed, karate chopping her hands. "Hai-yah!"

Cassie broke into a fit of laughter, as Max continued, "He's so hot, right? I bet he's an amazing kisser."

Eleven scrunched up her nose and stuck out her tongue.

"Hey, Cassie..." Max trailed, lifting herself up onto the bed. "Is Mike a good kisser?"

Cassie smirked, "Well, let's just say he's learned a lot from me."

The girls began to giggle, but as soon as the thought of Mike entered Cassie's brain, the girl let out a gasp.

"Oh, shit!" Cassie swore, checking the time on the clock next to Max's bed. "I have to go."

"What?" Eleven asked.

"Why?" Max followed.

Cassie ran a hand through her hair, quickly answering, "I promised Will I would help him setup his D&D campaign and I'm already late."

"Hey, I thought we were going to forget about the boys and have a girls night." Max accused.

"I know, don't worry, I'll be back for our sleepover, it'll only take an hour or two," Cassie promised. "Catch you guys later!"

After slipping on her black Chuck Taylor's, Cassie swung open Eleven's bedroom door and moved quickly through the house, making her way out the front. As soon as her feet hit the muddy grass, the girl began to run.

Perhaps a little while ago she would have balked at idea of running so far and fast, but now all Cassie could think about was getting to Will and the others. Being without a bike, running was the only option.
