"I think they could be, they told me someone would come, someone meek, a virgin, I will reckon with them when the time comes. Madeline should be here soon, see to it see isn't harassed by any of the animals and call the masters for a meeting an hour after her arrival, I will have some interesting news for them."
"Yes, Preacher."
And Dodds left to do as he asked. Childs put his tentacles out to feel for the virgin but found it impossible to locate her. "Interesting," he mumbled to himself. "Fascinating."
