John's POV
I hear the door open and I look over at it to see Peggy. She's so pretty. I couldn't help but stare and when I realize I am I look down. I grab my phone and see it's almost time for the party and we should probably go over there. I stand up and ask her
"You ready?" She smiles and nods. I get my shoes on and we walk out the door.
When we get to the party it's wild. There are drunk guys and girls everywhere. A lot of people making out all over the place. Some guys leading drunk girls upstairs to a bedroom. And most of the people that are here are dancing.
Peggy grabs my hand and I smile. I look down at her and she mouths I don't like this. I yell "it'll be okay!" she nods but I know she doesn't believe me. we get a few drinks and talk. We go outside after it's getting way too hot in there. I sit down on a bench and she sits beside me. We talk for what seems an entirety until I just kiss her. I didn't care if she kissed back or not I just needed to tell her I love her and I can't use words. I was surprised that she did kiss back. I pull away and I see a huge smile on Peggy's face I couldn't help but smile too. I look over to see if anyone is there and look back at her after no one is there.
"Peggy, Will you be my girlfriend?" She smiles even more and answers "Yes" I was so happy. She means the world to me.
