|Backstory|
When she was very young her parents died and she and her brother were moved from home to home until they eventually found a family who would keep them. There guardians are on business trips a lot so it is almost always just Nikola and Riven. Izuku's mother Inko comes over to check on them every once in a while but they usually can handle themselves. When Nikola was around 7 she heard about the hero course at U.A, ever since then she has trained and has been trying to hone her power to use it for fighting. When she was finally old enough to apply she did. She was scared that all of the other contestants with much more combat centered quirks would bump her out of the ranks but, she made it and she had finally gotten into the hero course at U.A. There was only one problem. Her brother had not gotten in, she had never been anywhere without her brother and now she had to go to a new school and live in dorms while her brother stayed at home and went to the public school down the street. When she heard this she almost gave up on her dream to be with her brother but he made her stay in and he made sure that she was going to the school. 

One day when they were both walking down the street they saw a young girl getting attacked by a villain. Her brother had taken the monster down while she was healing the girl and the heroes put in a recommendation for him to go to the school. When they got the letter that he would be in class 1-B she was so happy that they would be in the same school but she knew that just because he was there she wasn't going to slack off and sneak over to where he was to make sure that he was alright. She knew that he was going to be fine and since she knew that he was there it was going to help her do better so she could let him see that she wasn't going to give up on her dream and she never would.
