i. summary

Once upon a time the courageous Prince of Kiburi ran away for a very, very long time after the death of his father Mufasa, one of the best Kiburi Kings to have ever walked the Savannah. He traveled across open water to escape what had happened in his beloved home but he never forgot the memory of Mufasa, not truly. He had been a child when he ran from Kiburi and had, thankfully, been taken under the wings of two mischievous men who became his closest friends while living in Albion. They ensured he always had somewhere safe to stay and the prince was forever grateful for their kindness.

However, somewhere along the way, the handsome prince lost himself.

He forgot who he was. He forgot where he came from. He forgot the destiny he had yet to fulfill, and he forgot the family and friends he had left behind to suffer under the ruthless rule of his uncle Taka, better known as Scar, in his absence. He'd forgotten everything his father had taught him and this prince found himself ashamed. He had made new friends in Camelot, he even had the hand of a beautiful Queen waiting for every chance he took to steal her breath away, but with the people of Kiburi suffering — the prince knew what he had to do. And so commences the story of a great man who ran with lions in his youth, on a quest of self, and love, and forgiveness. His name?

Simba Libaax.
