the room is crowded, everyone pushing and shoving to get ahead. it's hard to see where one person ends and the other begins, everyone melting into each other in a twisted cycle of violence.
she is the only noticeable person, or rather the only person i notice. she's standing still, only being slightly moved by the people around her as if they were a relaxing breeze gently blowing on her.
her slightly chapped lips curve up into a smile, she's amused at the antics of the people surrounding her. she finds their attempts at discrimination humorous, not alarming. she knows where she stands and has no worries about anyone forcing her to the back of the line. she has earned her way up and she will stay there, no matter what anyone else says.
her confidence, perhaps, is her most addicting feature. it draws me in and hooks me to the idea of her. i want to be her. no. i want to be with her. i want her to be mine as i am already hers.
her eyes lock with mine as she raises an eyebrow. she extends a smooth hand and curves a finger, gesturing for me to come to her.
the crowd is pushing me back, screaming about how i cannot join her, how i'm not supposed to be with her, how none of this is right.
i fight through, desperation forcing me to claw through these people just so i can have a chance with her.
our hands are the next to meet as she pulls me closer to her. i can see the admiration in her eyes and know that mine are reflecting the same feeling.
we have both fought to get where we are, we are both still fighting so that we don't get pushed back. it is a constant battle against everyone, one that will seemingly never end.
but we have each other and that is what matters, because no one is going to take the ray of sunshine away from the vine that seeks it. not if we have anything to say about it.
(still kinda freaking out but I'm working on distracting myself from my thoughts. let me know what y'all think about this style, it'll most likely be what the Deamus fic is written like)

Tea With the Trolley WitchRandom
A more accurate random book. Technically the 2nd random book, but honestly you do not need to read Medusa's Leghairs to understand me. This will have randomness in it, so prepare yourself I guess.
