Sitting with her legs crossed, Autumn sketcked out the scene before her. Of course the drawing wasn't perfect, but once she gets a bigger piece of paper, she would make it better with more detail.

It was nighttime, the stars were out because there weren't many light where she lived. She saw the moon, its crescent form glowing silver. She was sitting in the flowers, some trees in the distance making the perfect inspiration for her.

Her wolf, Astraea, was begging to be let out and run in the field. Her wolf was a medium-sized steel grey color with a white tipped tail and ear with a tail that was black at the end. She had black eyes, but they glowed gold whenever she got upset.

Astraea was definitely more violent and temperamental than Autumn. Which is why Autumn doesn't let her out often. She finished her sketch and sighed, looking at the moon. She had always wondered what attracted her to it, besides the fact the she was part wolf.

“Maybe I love the moon because it shines, even on my darkest hour”, she whispered, running a hand through her hair.

It was getting closer to midnight, and even though she didn't feel sleepy in the slightest, she decided to go inside anyway. During the entire walk home, she was lost in thought. She didn't know why, but she had the sudden urge to find her mate, which scared her.

She honestly didn't know the first thing about mates since she was raised by humans, but she would at least try to make it work if she found hers. Astraea whined when she thought she wouldn't find a mate. It's one of the main purposes in a werewolf's life.

There was one thing, though. Autumn wanted a family, children. She wanted three or four, but most importantly, she wanted someone who would see her as the most brave and strong person. She would be relevant, and she would be loved. She wouldn't be abandoned.
