We started walking towards the woods, it was pretty dark but manageable. We all were still shook up about what had happened a few minutes ago.
" You are sure that was D'Art?" Lucas finally asks.
" Yes. he had the same exact yellow pattern on his butt." Dustin replies.
" He was tiny two days ago." Max says.
" well, he's molted three times already."
" Malted?" Steve asks.
" Molted." Dustin corrects," Shed his skin to make room for growth like hornworms."
" When's he gonna molt again?" Max asks.
" It's gotta be soon." Dustin says, " When he does, he'll be fully grown, or close to it. And so will his friends."
" Yeah, and he's gonna eat a lot more than just cats." I joke.
" Wait, a cat!" Lucas asks, stopping Dustin, " D'Art ate a cat?"
" No, what? No."
" What are you talking about? he ate Mews." Steve says.
" Mews? Who's Mews?" Max asks.
" it's Dustin's cat," I say.
" Steve! Y/n!" Dustin yells, glaring at us.
" I knew it! You kept him!" Lucas yells.
" No! No. No... I... No.. I- He missed me. he wanted to come home." Dustin stutters.
" Bullshit," Lucas says.
" I didn't know he was a demogorgon, okay?" Dustin replies.
" Oh, so now you admit it?"
" Guys, who cares? We have to go." I yell at them.
" I care! You put the party in jeopardy! You broke the rule of law!" Lucas yells.
" So did you!" Dustin yells back, Steve and I roll our eyes.
" What?" Lucas yells.
" You told a stranger the truth!" Dustin yells, pointing the flashlight in Max's face.
" A stranger?!" Max scoffs.
" You wanted to tell her too!" lucas yells.
" Yeah, well I didn't Lucas!" Dustin yells back, " We both broke the rule of law, okay? So we're even. We're even."
" No, No! We're not eve. Don't even try that. Your stupid pet could have ate us for dinner!" Lucas yells, Steve and I walk towards a sound of growling.
" Hey guys," Steve yells, " Guys!"
" No, no, no. Hey guys, why are you headed towards the sound?" Max yells, " Hello?! Hello! Shit,"
We continue to walk towards the sound, it was getting louder.
" i don't see him," Dustin says.
" It's the lab," Lucas says, " They were going back home."
We started to head towards the lab to see what was happening. We finally reached there, and heard shouting.
" Steve? y/n?" Jonathan and Nancy both ask.
" Nancy?" Steve asks.
" Johnathan?" I ask.
" What are you doing here?" Nancy scolds.
