Chapter 16/2: Kiss the Cook

Actually, dapat si ChungCha lang ang bababa sa kitchen para magluto ng breakfast.  Pero dahil sa makulit si Tim, pinayagan narin niya itong sumama. Worried parin kasi siya sa kalagayan ng kanyang boyfriend dahil hindi pa naman eto fully recover. Pwede paring bumalik yong lagnat niya  anytime dahil medyo malala yong ibang sugat neto.

" where is Manang Flora? "
Tim asked looking around habang pababa sila ng hagdan. Nakasunod siya sa likuran ni ChungCha.

" she's only in the garden Tim. "
ChungCha answered, taking a glance on her boyfriend.
" because every morning, don na agad yong punta nya. She loves taking care of our garden so much. "

Tim could only nod his head.
" how about your mom? "

" oh, she's still on her work. She will be back on Friday evening. "

Sagot ni ChungCha na dumiretso sa kusina. Napahinto kasi si Tim sa may living room.

" that long? "
Tim asked again, really confused.

ChungCha nodded while busy preparing the things she needed to use for cooking.

" yes Tim, Mom is always busy to her work. Umuuwi lang sya ng bahay kapag may time sya pero kadalasan.. nasa hotel sya or nasa cafe namin. "

Tim let out a deep sigh. Bigla siyang nakaramdam ng lungkot sa kalagayan ng kanyang girlfriend. Wala nangang daddy tapos laging busy pa yong mommy. Sino nalang yong magbabantay sa kanya ng mabuti? Buti nalang merong Manang Flora pero iba parin kapag yong parents mo mismo yong nag-aalaga sayo.

" hindi ka ba nagtatampo sa mom mo? "
as he walked towards the kitchen and sat infront of the  kitchen counter.

ChungCha looked at
him, a bit surprised with his sudden question. Ba't naman kailangan nyang magtampo sa mom nya?

" of course not. "
she answered, shaking her head like a kid.
" Mom needs to work, mom loves our business so much. The hotel and cafe are very important to mom so i really understand her kha. No way  to sucking. "

Tim could only smile at her  after hearing those answer. He was so amazed! Because ChungCha was really an angel. A really good daughter with a very kind heart.

" so Tim.. what do you wanna eat for breakfast? "
ChungCha snapped, changing the topic.

" do you really know how to cook? " teasing her girlfriend again.

" ooh Timm~ dont you trust me huh? "
ChungCha whined, making her way towards the refrigerator to get some ingredients.

Tim chuckled.
" just kidding. Of course i trust you! "

" so.. what are you going to cook now? "

ChungCha let out a soft
sigh habang busy sa paghahanap ng pwedeng mailuto sa ref. And then nakahanap siya ng carrot.

" well.. im planning to make a carrot soup for you. Manang Flora told me that soup is good for sick people."

Tim laughed.
" really? But im not sick anymore. "
