37 | Sisters Quarrel

They returned back to the surface as they landed perfectly. Jihyo gasped as she breathes in air and dropped to her knees.

Nayeon:
"Jihyo! you okay?"

Jihyo:
"y-yeah.. it's just–"

Nayeon dropped to her knees and looked at her seals. Her eyes widened as only one line remaining on her wrist.

Nayeon:
"Jihyo! You're level 50. how did you–"

Chaeyoung:
"It's the crystal.. isnt it?"

Jihyo looked over her hand as she sees the crystal glowing from her hand. She returned it to Chaeyoung.

Jihyo:
"what is this.."

Chaeyoung:
"I dont know.. but it was glowing there when you were trying to cast your spell.."

Tzuyu immediately interrupted them and grabbed Chaeyoung's collar.

Tzuyu:
"why did you take them?!"

Chaeyoung:
"why are you getting mad. I got us out of here!"

Tzuyu:
"but you–"

Chaeyoung:
"saved everyone!– be thankful!"

Dahyun:
"hey! Chaeyoung. what's wrong with you?"

Chaeyoung:
"i did that cause I was curious. and I helped!"

Dahyun:
"yeah but you two fighti–"

Tzuyu:
"You almost killed us!"

Chaeyoung:
"BUT I HELPED!"

Tzuyu:
"You don't know what you just unleashed!"

Chaeyoung:
"AND YOU DO?!– YOU CAN'T EVEN FIGURE OUT YOUR HISTORY! and you dare to tell me i dont know anything!"

Tzuyu:
"ah.."

Tzuyu halted and sighed. She scowled and turned away.

Chaeyoung:
"ah.. Tzuyu. I am so–"

Tzuyu:
"understandable.. It's okay."

Chaeyoung:
"No. I didnt mean–"

Tzuyu:
"it's fine. let's go home."

Jeongyeon:
"right.. uh.. so. I feel like we havent been in school yet."

Momo:
"yeah. uh.."

Jihyo:
"yeah. I think.. we reverted back to first day.."

Momo:
"WAIT SO... TOMORROW IS THE FIRST DAY?!"

Nayeon:
"apparently.." she sighed

Mina:
"aww man.. we gotta re-do our lessons over again?!"

Momo:
"I dont want that."

Jihyo:
"Sorry.. I didnt have a choice."

Dahyun:
"Cool.. first day of school we–"

Tzuyu:
"have fun. I am not going."

Dahyun:
"ah! Tzuyu!"

Tzuyu:
"goodnight" she casted a gravitational spell and flew.

Chaeyoung:
"Wait! Tzuyu!"

Dahyun immediately smacked Chaeyoung's head.

Dahyun:
"Why did you do that?"

Chaeyoung:
"I am sorry...I.."

Jihyo:
"I understand your motive. but Tzuyu.. was just looking after us.. especially you as her sister."

Chaeyoung:
"I know.. It's just–"

Sana:
"Let her rest. it's been a long day."

Chaeyoung:
"y-yeah.."

Mina:
"Chae? mind handing me the–"

Chaeyoung:
"NO!" she growled. Mina's eyes widened and Chaeyoung cleared her throat "ah.. i mean.. I wanna read it first.. it's just–"

Mina:
"but you cant under–"

Chaeyoung:
"I'll figure it out.."

Dahyun:
"Chaeyoung.. what's gotten into you."

Chaeyoung:
"I am fine.. don't worry."

Sana squinted at the young cub and saw something weird pulling out of her inner arm. She remained quiet and let her be.

Sana:
"it's okay.. It's late. we gotta go. It's first day anyway" she smiled

Jihyo:
"right! we will see you all tomorrow then."

Jeongyeon:
"see you everyone."

Momo:
"bye!"

And they all went their separate ways.

Chaeyoung:
*sigh* "I know what I am doing...– stop treating me like a kid.." she mumbled and knitted her brows
