I had been living at the Phantomhive manor for some time now. It was odd, being in this place with dunces for servants and an almost unworldly butler. Little did I know, the butler was unworldly.
"Miss Y/n." Sebastian's voice called my name.
"What is it, Sebas?" I called back with the nickname I had given him.
"I've asked you before, please do refrain from calling that." He sighed walking towards me.
Giving a nod, I didn't say anything else.
"Miss Y/n, I need you to take care of something rather important for me." He said with a seriousness.
"And that would be?" I inquired.
"Cleaning the servants living quarters." Sebastian responded, "I know they're supposed to do it themselves, but there just hasn't been enough time lately."
"Alright! You can count on me!" My cheery disposition put him off slightly.
The butler's face went from a stressed frown to a worry free smile. It was clear that he was glad to have a servant around who knew what she was doing.
"Don't disappoint me, Y/n." He looked at me with a smile that showed kindness and a sense of gentleness. It suited him well.
I nodded then got right to work. I organized everything in the rooms, alphabetized any books they may have had on the bookshelves, folded all unfolded uniforms and laundry, washed dirty laundry, scrubbed the walls and floors, then washed down their bathrooms and showers. Everything was done in just under three hours.
"Mister Sebastian, I'm done!" I shouted, panting slightly from being tired.
Walking towards me yet again, the butler patted my head. "Good." He smiled.
The butler's kindness towards me was rather strange, but I liked it. It made me really happy that he doesn't yell at me like he does the other.
"Is there anything else I need to do?" I asked.
"Not at all. You worked hard today, go ahead and rest." He kept his smile.
I nodded and skipped off to my quarters. I changed my clothes from my uniform to something more comfy and casual. I then laid in bed, grabbed the book I was working on reading, and read the rest. This book was my favorite book. Every single paragraph was more than just detailed. The author managed to get the story pictured in my mind, like it was a play. However, this play was much better than anything Shakespeare could muster up. This play had more depth, more meaning. There was love, rejection, magic, happiness, pain and suffering! This book ha absolutely everything in two-hundred pages or less. Much better than other play.
Smiling while I read, a knock sounded on my door. The knock was followed by a certain specific butler entering my room.
"I hope I'm not disturbing anything." He spoke quietly.
I shook my head and set my book down, "Not at all. What is it?"
"I just wanted to thank you for being a good servant and actually getting your work done." He smiled, now sitting down on my bed next to me.
"It's no prob--" I was cut off by his lips colliding with mine.
He kissed me with a fiery passion as I sat there, absolutely dumbfounded. I-Is he really...?! This was weird. Totally weird.
In attempt to push him away, he only deepened it. I couldn't breathe. By the time I had finally got him away, I was gasping for air. I thought I was going to die for a second there.
"Wh-What was that...?!" I stuttered, blushing a deep shade of red.
The butler's eyes had changed from that shade of crimson to that mesmerizing magenta. It was then that I realized he wasn't normal... At all...
