The phone on the counter chimed.
Seamus meant to upgrade it to a video model, but they were expensive. Tourism in Galway had dried up since the space lanes opened.
"Aran Islands Sweater Emporium, Seamus speaking."
"You're difficult to get ahold of, Aran, but we need your services." This was not the first time Seamus had been confused for the famous bounty hunter, their names being so close. He started to explain, but he stopped. The shop was empty. He eyed the blaster rifle he kept under the counter for emergencies.
And why not? He wondered.
"Give me the details."
