Game On - An OT7 FF

Chapter 1: The Interview

  You are sitting in a small office with the general manager of Game On. The biggest arcade in town for a job interview. After college didn't work out you decided to move and start fresh. Without the help of student loans you need a job. This wasn't your first choice but with lack of a degree its all you can find.

"I think you would make a great fit here! What position are you applying for again?"

  Kind of shocked at his response you reply, "Wow thank you! I was looking into maybe front desk or the prize area. But I can work wherever you need me."

"Great! You're hired. So orientation is tomorrow and if you can get your training done on time you can start right away! I think we will start you on front desk and you can work your way around the other areas." The general manager was very cheerful. It gave me hope that this would be a decent place to work. "Thank you so much for this opportunity! I promise to work very hard!" He held his hand out and you shook it with a firm grip

  You couldn't believe that was it. It wasn't even a real interview. It seemed like he just wanted to get to know you. You were glad that you landed a job but you did not expect it to be this easy.

  After getting the last bit of information from Bang Shihyuk, the general Manager, you decide to hang around a little bit to get to know the workplace. This place not only has games, it has a bar and restaurant as well. You decide to grab a drink and a game card and go have fun while you can. If you work here long enough you are sure that the magic will wear off.

  You head up to the bar and grab a seat. You Immediately notice the bartender. His charming bunny smile and thick black hair just knocks the breath out of you. He is shockingly gorgeous. "Hey, how are you today?" He asks smoothly. Typical for a bartender that in genuinely good at their job. "I'm doing great, thanks for asking."

  Somehow you managed to put a sentence together. Blood has rushed to your face and you try so hard to hide it, but you can't look away. Is it even okay for a man to be this pretty? He notices that you are getting shy and smirks. He slowly leans over the counter and in a low voice asks, "What does a girl like you want to drink?"

  It feels like your heart completely stops. your head is in a whirl, "Ill have sex on the beach"

...Did I just say that..

"Hahaaaa... The drink. Ill have a sex on the beach... the drink.." You say with a shaky voice.

  Oh my god I am fucking this up.

  He softly chuckles as he leans back up, "I think I can manage that.." He winked while turning away to make your drink. You think to yourself how this could get anymore embarrassing. At least he doesn't know you work there yet. Maybe you could just find another job to avoid future embarrassment. There is no way you could ever approach him again.

  He works his way back over to you, drink in hand and sets it down. As he set the drink down he leans over the bar again. "This is on the house, congrats on getting hired. What's your name?"

Fuck.

"My name is y/n", you say a little shaky.

"It's so nice to meet you. My name is Jungkook, but you can call me Kookie. I hope to see you around more babe"

And with a wink he walked away to tend to another guest. Leaving you breathless.

  You shyly walk away, realizing what he just said to you. "Babe?" you whisper to yourself. You know it probably doesn't mean anything. But since when do you get noticed by anybody??

  After playing a few games here and there you notice another employee walking around the game room. His blonde hair glowing as he passes neon lights. Immediately you notice he seems quiet and reserved. You watch him as he is fixing one of the lights on a game. You notice his soft, yet rough hands as they work. As your study his movements he notices you and looks up. You feel the blood rushing to your cheeks as you make eye contact. He awkwardly holds his hand up to wave at you with a soft smile. You manage to wave back and he goes back to work.

  You turn around and start to walk away. You whisper to yourself "Holy shit is everyone that works here super hot? What am I going to do." After the awkward encounter you decide it is probably time to head home. You have a long first day tomorrow and you want to enjoy the last bit of freedom you have left. Plus who knows how many of the other employees are breathtakingly gorgeous.

  You notice Jungkook waving at you as you are walking out. "See you tomorrow y/n!! I hope that was a good sex on the beach!" He yells at you. Immediately your face flushes and you run out of the door.

"What the hell is with that guy! Does he even know what he does to girls! Jeez!"

  Quickly you get in your car. You let out a hard sigh. Finally you feel safe. Secure. In your own little car. Maybe tomorrow will be easier. Not everyone is like him... Right?
